I guess being blessed by twin gods can have an effect.
“Seren?” Raza snarled.
“Huh?” I looked up from Miri.
“Where is this happening?” he repeated.
“Oh. I don't know. I thought you were asking Medea.”
Medea looked up. “What was the question?”
Raza looked about to implode.
“I got ya, Beast Bro,” Killian said. He snatched Miri from Medea and asked, “Where have the Kumihos gone missing?”
Medea blinked, came out of her baby-haze, and said, “Incheon.”
“Itchy on?” Raza asked with a scowl.
Killian burst out laughing.
Raza glared at him.
“Sorry, bro,” Kill said. “It's been a while since I've felt wiser than you.”
“You should never feel that way,” Raza drawled, his claws clicking as he crossed his arms and his wings. The overhead lights made his black skin look like polished jet. As if his coloring alone was a threat.
“But I do,” Kill said gleefully. “Cause I know where Incheon is.”
“Where is it?” Raza demanded.
“Korea. South Korea, to be exact. The Republic of Korea. ROK. Or Rock as the Extinguishers like to call it.”
“South? The direction matters?”
“Oh yeah. There's a South and a North.” Killian widened his eyes. “Even you don't want to go to North Korea. Bad juju.”
“Juju?” Raza made the word sound ominous.
“It's a dictatorship,” Daxon explained. “Run by a madman. They did not do well during the Spear incident. Then there's South Korea, separated from the North by a demilitarized zone.”
“Filled with pigs,” Killian said.
Everyone looked at him.
Everyone but Medea, who burst out laughing.
“What does that mean?” Tiernan asked. “Is it an insult aimed at policemen?”
Killian joined Medea in laughing, which made Miri giggle.
“Killian, I will slice offbothyour dicks if you don't cease,” Raza said calmly.
Kill stopped laughing.
“Both?” Medea asked.
“You had to bring them up.” Daxon rolled his eyes.
