“I am. Among other things.”

Rory narrowed his eyes. “You appear to be fully Dragon-Sidhe to me.”

“I am, but I am also fully other things.” I winked at him. “Magic can do that.”

“What magic?”

I leaned in to whisper, “The Great Nine.”

Both Rory and Rivella gasped.

Then King Rory narrowed his eyes at me. “You are making a joke at my expense.”

“Nope.”

“No one can use the Great Nine. Not even the High King.”

“I can. Because I'm also a Goddess.”

Rory bared his teeth at me.

“Easy now.” I held up my hands. “I'm human too.”

He went back to glaring at me suspiciously.

“I have been trying to work out who she is and how she got here myself, King Rory,” Rivella said. “She claims to be from another time, brought here by a ring of remembrance.”

The King looked down at his own hand.

“Yup. Just like that one except the stone is clear,” I said.

Rory's head jerked up. “So, you have at least seen the ring of remembrance entrusted to the Dragon-Sidhe.”

“I own it.” I grimaced. “In my time. In this time, King Cian is holding onto it for me. It was my father's.”

“You are Lord Finnian's daughter?” He looked me over again.

Rivella asked him something in Fey.

“Don't be rude.” I pointed at her. “Keep it in English.”

“She asked if I believe you,” Rory said. He cocked his head at me. “I do. It's the only explanation.”

“Oh, thank goodness,” I huffed. “And thankyou. Even Arach doesn't believe me, not fully, and he's my husband.”

“You're married to King Arach?”

“Yes. In the future. We have three children. Children I need to get back to.”

“The ring isn't used to bring people to the past, only to relive the past,” Rory said.

“Correction; it hasn't been used to bring people to the past. I discovered a loophole. I can go back in time to a realm I wasn't in during that time and move freely. I don't like to mess with time though, so I don't often go back like this, into the distant past. It could have cataclysmic results.”

“Yes. That's why the ring is not used in such a manner.”

“Well, normally, I use it to spend time with my family, going back and forth between the God Realm and the Faerie Realm. That way, no one has to miss me.”

“No one has to miss you?” Rivella asked. “Your family is split?”
