“Ethan!” I cried out as I came.

“Oh, darling, we have barely begun,” Ethan drawled as he lifted himself above me. “I intend to make up for coming so fast that first time. I'm going to show you how long I can last.”

And then he did; in every way possible.

Chapter Twenty-Nine

The next morning, I woke to the sound of voices; the men were talking animatedly. I was about to sit up and join the conversation when I realized that they were speaking of Trenton.

“We told Riley that we'd bring Prince Trenton to her if we saw him,” Caleb said. “And we saw him. We need to honor our deal.”

“But I'm not ready to give her up,” Rath whined. “She has the finest asshole I've ever fucked.”

“And her pussy tastes like bananas,” Ruin added.

“It does not,” Ethan huffed.

“It tastes like berries,” Jack argued.

“Cherries,” Ruin compromised. “Cherry pie.”

“Whatever,” Caleb huffed. “I'm going to tell Prince Trenton that we have her.”

“No, you're not, Brother,” Ethan hissed. “Every decision has to be unanimous, remember? We're keeping Riley.”

“I don't agree with this,” Caleb snarled. “So, it isn't unanimous.”

“Then we'll revisit voting later,” Jack said. “For now, let's go wake up our mate and fuck her senseless. I want pie for breakfast.”

It was all I could do to play along and fuck the Cu-sidhe as I had been doing. I kept wondering how close Trenton was, and how I could find him on my own. I dutifully fucked and sucked the brothers, and even enjoyed it, but after they had all come and passed out to recuperate, I slipped into my clothes, and then out of the cave.

I squinted into the bright sunlight and took a moment to get my bearings before I started navigating the forest again. I tried to walk as quietly and carefully as possible, but I didn't know where I was or where I needed to go. For all I knew, Trenton could be circling me, or I could be circling him. I was hot, tired, and frustrated when I stepped into the trap.

I went flying into the air; encased in a strong net. I cried out as the world went topsy-turvy and begun to spin. Then a hand stopped my movement and turned me about until I was face-to-face with a man who looked like he was part tree. His skin was a deep walnut brown, and his eyes were vibrant green—they matched the leaves hanging from vines growing among his long, brown hair. He prodded me with a long finger and smiled.

“Human,” he said. “What a rare treat.”

“What do you want?” I hissed.

“Me? I didn't lay this trap,” he said innocently. “I just saw you step into it. This is a Redcap trap.”

“Redcap?” I asked in horror. If a redcap found me, I might end up back in Unseelie.

“Yeah, they like to hunt this way,” he said casually.

“They eat people?” I asked with even more horror.

“No.” He laughed. “Most fairies know better than to walk through the woods without looking. This is an animal trap.”

“Oh,” I said with relief.

“But if they find you in it, they'll take you for a slave,” he continued. “And Redcaps are vicious with their slaves.”

“Can you help me out of here?” I asked hopefully.

“Sure,” he said. “But what do I get out of it? It's a lot of work to undo a Redcap trap.”

“What do you want?” I growled.
