A shadow moves closer to me from my peripheral and I grin. I know I could take him for a longer chase, but I need him. My blood’s heated and my vulva’s slick. I am ready for him. Slowing down just a little I wait for the inevitable hit.

Umph. Damn, I underestimated how much he’s craved me too. My chest hits the forest floor and I pant, trying to catch my breath. He nips my neck, but I’m not ready to surrender. Lifting my ass, I push him back enough to get out from under him.

His eyes flash with heat and lust and his tongue hangs from his mouth.

“Submit, Serafine,”he barks and I huff. I paw at the ground and give him a wolfy grin. I want him and he knows it, but that doesn’t mean I’m just going to roll over for him. He may be mine, and it’s been so long since I’ve had him, but he will need to work for it.

Frida may have been acting like some love drunk pup, especially when Evander accepted her shirt. I don’t think he understands her culture and that they are now practically married.

Fenrir growls and I scoff. He bends low, gritting his teeth. Saliva pools and I find that oddly sexy.

“You’re mine, Serafine,” he grunts and I sigh. He’s right, I am.

I let him circle me, and rub against me, marking me with his scent. When he kicks my legs out from under me, and mounts me, I allow it. My spine arches and my body shakes as his fangs nip into the skin of my neck.

He’s rough, unapologetic as he thrusts into me in one move, joining us together.

I whimper, moving my hips as much as I can. He feels amazing, perfect. His hot panting breaths fill my ears and my fur begins to ripple. Am I about to shift right now? No, I don’t want to give Frida control yet.

A flash of light fills the forest from the sky aslightning strikes through my body, electrocuting me, but it’s not painful. Fenrir groans, thrusting faster, chasing his release. I can feel myself clenching him harder, not wanting him to leave. I need his knot and it’s right there, bumping against me.

“Please, please,” I beg and he snuffs.

More bolts of lightning hit us, then Fenrir finally knots us together. My body trembles and I can feel him swelling and pulsing inside of me. This is what we’ve been needing. My fur ripples harder, electricity running through me. I feel so energized.

Frida tries to take control and I watch as Evander does the same to Fenrir, but he’s fighting it. With each pulse of his knot, the feeling of being not only so full, but so absolutely complete, fills me and pushes me over the edge. I dig my nails into the ground as wave after wave of pleasure ripples through my body, causing me to tighten down on him, only to just start the cycle over again.

After what seems like an eternity and when both of us are completely spent, we lose our control and shift back at the same time.

Chapter 12

Ipass through the black fiery gate of Hell and step onto the desolate wasteland that is known as Purgatory with Abaddon, Lilith and four lesser Knights of Hell.

“We need to kill the sentries first, so they don’t raise the alarm,” I whisper as we sneak closer to Heaven’s gate.

Counting five standing guards, I motion to Lilith, who nods and vanishes in a black cloud before lookingover at Abaddon and signaling to her. She nods and dashes to the two closest angels.

Reaching them she decapitates the first one with her sword and quickly turns and cuts the other in half from crotch to head with a single slash.

As the first angel falls the other three are alerted, but Lilith appears in the middle of them and with her dagger cuts the throat of one, stabs the second in the chest, before driving it under the chin and into the skull of the third angel, killing them all with unmatched swiftness.

As the last sentry hits the ground, Lilith says, “Well that was amusing,” licking the blood from her blade before sheathing it.

“Enough, we have work to do, remember each of you are to grab every angel you can for interrogation, once you have your catch meet back at the portal. There is something that I have to do,” I command.

“How exactly do you plan on getting us through the Heaven gate? A demon has never crossed the threshold into Heaven and lived,” Abaddon asks.

“You are correct, the portal just beyond the gate senses the demonic power and closes the gate killing whatever tried to cross it. But I am different. I can hold the gate open while you pass through it like this,” I explain approaching the gate and extending my left hand.

Just as it touched the gate I could feel it open. “Now move while it is open, hurry.” As each one of them passes through the gate it tries to close due to their demonic essence, but is forced back open when it senses my presence.

“How are you able to do that?” Lilith asks.

“You have to remember that I still have the power of a wolfand regardless of where I reside now the gate can sense that and will open for me. As long as part of me is in contact with the gate it will stay open,” I snap, irritated at the question, forcing her through the gate.

As I step through the portal, a sensation washes over me that I haven’t felt in centuries. A radiant feeling of divinity which enrages and sickens me to my very core.

Joining the others without a word I command them to go in different directions as I head off in search of my prize. Covertly, I work my way through the halls keeping out of sight until I reach the dorm hall.
