A strangled sound rips from his lips as Kaiden shuts him up with his fist. “Don’t talk about Emery like that, and stop goading your brother.”

“He’s not my brother,” Joaquin hisses. “He’s a?—”

This time, Hunt shuts him up. “Shut the fuck up, Joaquin, before you say something you’ll really regret.”

Too fucking late, dude.

“You’re both acting like pussies,” Lauder says, “and you need to table your shit because we’ve got bigger issues.”

Goose bumps sprout on my arms as a sense of dread falls over me. “What issues?”

“Roman is missing,” Kaiden announces, and all the blood leaches from my face. “He snuck out with Jarvis, and we don’t know where they’ve gone.”

“I told you that prick was bad news,” I say, pinning Everett with a look until he releases me. “Most likely they went to a bar to get wasted. It’s their usual MO.” Pulling my cell from my pocket, I groan when I see the cracked black screen. It’s toast, but it doesn’t matter. I can still do what I need to on any phone. I eyeball Kaiden. “Give me your phone. I’ll open the tracking app for his cell and find out where they are.”

“He left his phone at the house,” Kaiden says as Jude lets Joaquin go with a warning look that is redundant. That prick is inconsequential compared to this. Roman is all that matters right now.

I hold out my hand. “I have one in his truck too.”

“Course you do, you manipulative fuck,” J sneers.

“You shut your face,” Kaiden says, jabbing his finger in Joaquin’s direction. “Zayn protects Roman to keep him safe.”

“They took Van Hesten’s car,” Lauder says, and I grin.

Hunt’s lips twitch. “You have a tracker on his car too?”

“What do you think?” I smirk, grabbing Kaiden’s phone and downloading the app. My fingers fly over the keys as I log in and pull up Jarvis’s file. “They’re at Black Widows Bar.”

“Fuck. Me.” Kaiden scrubs his hands down his face.

“We should have known,” Lauder says.

“Let me guess, it’s where all the degenerates socialize?”

“Got it in one, little Anderson.” Lauder clamps me on the back.

“Let’s go.” Kaiden nods at Hunt. “I’ll meet you outside in a few.”

Joaquin sneers at me, and I shove my middle finger up at him before walking off with Everett, Hunt, and Lauder while Kaiden hangs back to talk with him and Harley.

“Follow us,” Lauder says to Everett when we get outside.

I move to walk with my buddy to his sports car when Hunt grabs the collar of my shirt and yanks me back. “Not you. You’re coming with us.”

“It’s not like I’m going to bail,” I growl, narrowing my eyes at him.

“No, you’ll just take off like a kamikaze, and Anderson will bust our fucking balls.” Lauder presses his key fob as he saunters toward his black Range Rover.

“You’re in enough trouble as it is,” Hunt deadpans.

“Do I look like I care?” I snap back as I eyeball Everett, conveying it’s okay.

“No,” Hunt replies, dragging me away from my buddy. “You always look disinterested or pissed off, but that’s how we know you care deeply, so cut the shit and just get in the fucking car.”

I shuck out of his hold, climbing into the back seat as Lauder slides behind the wheel. I roll my eyes as Hunt crawls in beside me and shuts the door. “I want to know something.”

“Don’t we all.”
