Daniel looked ready to throw up and Zach was about to hyperventilate. Just once, it would be swell if shit didn't go south when we got together.
Zach took both of us by the hand, leading us even deeper into the woods. I didn't ask how he knew about the outcropping of rocks on the other side of the tree line. He climbed onto one of the boulders before reaching out a hand to both of us. We curled up together as the sun began to sink below the horizon. “I promise, I haven't done anything with anybody since last school year. You guys are the only ones who’ve touched me.”
“Then how…?” Daniel let the end of the question hang in the air.
“Why were you so nervous?” I asked. As the fuck-up one of my family, I was well acquainted with the look of a guilty man.
Zack's response was mumbled, and his words all ran together so I had to replay what he'd said a few times before figuring out what was going on. “I snuck into Colin's room and stole one of his dildos.”
Once I replayed his confession enough times to break it down into individual words, the erection that had flagged when things went sideways was back and harder than ever.
“And you didn't think either of us would want to see that?” I scolded him.
“See what?” Daniel asked, obviously still confused.
I turned to face him. “It seems our naughty little boy broke into my footlocker. He stole one of my dildos and, apparently, he’s been practicing with it.”
Daniel's eyes grew wide and Zach frowned. “This is so embarrassing.”
“If you think this is bad, wait until we get back and make you show us everything you've learned,” I warned him as I jumped off the rock. Daniel followed, turning back to grip Zach’s hand tightly in his own. “We’ll order dinner later. First, you owe us a show.”
Sex in the park could be fun, but tonight, I was looking forward to teaching Zach his next lesson.

Daniel
Each of usdriving to the park on our own was a huge mistake. I didn't want to take my eyes off either of them long enough to get back to campus. I walked both of my men to their cars, kissing and groping them to remind them what was about to happen.
Fuck. I couldn’t believe tonight was the night I’d finally get to strip Zach bare and do all the dirty things I’d thought would remain nothing more than fantasies. And Colin was there, which I hated to think of as a bonus, because that made it feel as if he wasn’t just as much a part of this.
In reality, I was beginning to see Colin as our glue. Zach and I might have eventually wound up hooking up—likely after a night of too many beers and yet another lackluster threesome when we were both thinking about how much better it could be without the soft curves of a woman between us—but I doubted we’d have found our way to this path.
With the timeline being kicked into high gear, I distracted myself by calling to try getting our roommates to leave for the night. At a stoplight, I scrolled through my contacts, debating which of them would be most likely to not ask questions.
They'd been cool, so far, about Zach and I getting together. I think they were just happy that they no longer had to walk around on eggshells, pretending they didn't all know about my crush on him or how difficult it had been last spring, pretending I wasn't hurt every time he asked me to participate in another threesome. We’d curled up on the couch a few times since he’d come out, but both of us agreed afterward that it felt wrong flaunting the fact wecouldwhen Colin was sitting off to the side, pretending to be happily single.
I tried calling Matt first, even though he was the most likely to make a smart ass comment. What he lacked in a filter, he made up for in a hopeless romantic side. He’d been the first to corner me the night Zach came out to all of them, telling me he was happy for us. I hoped that meant I could count on him tonight.
Unfortunately, he didn't answer. Next, I tried Brandon. He picked up on the first ring, his ragged breaths echoing across the line. I guess that answered why Matt didn't pick up his phone. “Hey, Daniel. Everything okay?”
“Yeah. I was calling to see who all was home tonight,” I explained. “You didn’thaveto answer if you were…busy.”
“It’s not what you think. I just got back from a run and Matt was playing with Chase,” he explained. I knew a bit about Chase and Matty, but I never asked for details. Their relationships worked for them, and it was probably a good stress reliever to have their Daddies take care of them sometimes. “Everyone's here right now, but I think Jayden and Chase are getting ready to go to his mom's for dinner soon. They said not to worry about cooking for them tonight. Why? What's up?”
I hated to ask, but I really needed to be able to reassure Zach and Colin we didn't have to worry about anyone cockblocking us. “What are the odds you guys could ghost for a bit, too?”
Brandon chuckled. “Say no more, my friend. I was wondering if a call like this was going to come.” I breathed a sigh of relief, grateful to have such cool roommates. “I’ll find something for us to do, maybe take Matty out to dinner for a change. Do you need me to give Colin a heads up? I haven't seen him yet tonight.”
“I…umm… No, I…I think he said he had to work tonight,” I lied. I checked the rearview mirror to make sure he was still behind me. I hated lying to any of the guys, but this was the way things needed to be for the time being. If things kept going well, then we’d consider coming clean about the final, biggest secret we’d kept.
“Oh.” Brandon sounded surprised. “I didn't realize you guys were close.”
“He hangs out with us sometimes. He and Zach got to know one another because they both work at the pizza place,” I explained. That made sense, right? “Either way, I can have Zach make sure Colin knows.”
“How long until you get back?” I squinted, trying to see the sign hanging over the intersection ahead. “Probably about fifteen minutes. Sorry for the short notice.”
“Don't sweat it.” He chuckled. “I think we all knew that whenever you and Zach got your heads out of your asses, it was going to take a bit of cooperation from everybody, so he doesn't get scared off.”
