sweetheart. I love hearing you ask me so nicely for help.”
When I crouched down, Corey placed a hand on my shoulder for support. I closed my eyes,
offering up a silent prayer that I’d be able to resist the urge to touch him as I slid the skimpy shorts
down his legs. This close, I could smell the musk of his arousal. I leaned in, inhaling deeply. Big
mistake. I groaned, and Corey chuckled.
“You know, you can touch it if you want,” he offered. I glared up at him. Our first time together
was not going to be in the break room at the club. It wasn’t going to be rushed or dirty or anything he
could possibly associate with a hook-up. I wanted to take my time with him. “It was just a
suggestion.”
Ignoring him, I reached for his jeans. He slid one leg into the garment, then the other. I stood,
tugging the denim up his body. He wriggled, helping me cover his backside. It was a shame, really,
because I wanted nothing more than to have him naked in front of me so I could finally take a good
look at him.
Corey moaned when I slid my hands under the cotton of his shirt. The flick of my thumbs over his
nipples was meant to get him back for rocking his hips against mine, but it backfired when his jaw
went slack, and he licked his bottom lip. The worst of it was, I was sure he had zero clue how he
affected me. “Please, Daddy. I don’t want to wait anymore.”
“But you have to. Just a bit longer,” I promised him. It would be a test of willpower to keep from
speeding the entire way to Corey’s apartment. “Let’s finish getting you dressed.”
By some miracle, both of us kept our hands to ourselves as much as possible while I helped him
into the hoodie he’d worn to work that night. I didn’t bother with the t-shirt; there was no point when
I’d just be stripping him out of it as soon as we were home. Corey tugged my arm when I turned
toward the back of the club to do a final walk-through before setting the alarm. “Sam will get it
before he leaves.”
“He’s still here?” The club was completely dark, and I’d assumed we were the only ones here.
Corey opened his mouth to say something, then closed it again. He wouldn’t meet my eyes. It felt
as if he wanted to say something but wasn’t sure he should. Dread settled in my stomach like
concrete. I could repeat it until I was blue in the face, but if Corey couldn’t trust me enough to say
what was on his mind, this was never going to work.
I took both of his hands in mine, stepping in front of him. “What’s wrong, Corey? Whatever it is,
