Goosebumps dotted my flesh when William slid a warm broad hand across my back, his pinkie

finger dipping beneath the elastic of my shorts. My knees nearly gave out, and I sank into his side.

“Are you about ready, Corey?” He guided me so I stood in front of him. Funny, I didn’t feel the

need to cover myself when it was William assessing me. “There’s a small crowd so far, but it’s still

early.”

“What do you want me to do?” I asked, wishing I’d thought to ask before he was leading me

through the bar. I might as well have been naked for all the eyes I felt on me. How some of the subs

William drew me so close I had no choice but to wrap my arms around his waist. He smiled

to drink anything before this. “Can I have a sip now?”

William quirked an eyebrow. “Is that how my good boy asks?”

I shook my head.

“Would you like to try again?”

“Please, can I have a sip of juice, Daddy?” No one’s heads snapped in our direction. No one

seemed to notice us at all, other than a few who greeted William. I willed my brain to be quiet,

reminding myself no one here would call me out.

William ruffled my hair. “That’s my good boy. But no, not yet. First, I want you to go find

something to play with. I need to talk to some people before we get started for the night. All I want

from you is to have fun. The people who are here are family. If another boy comes up and wants to

play, I expect you to share your toys and play nicely, got it?”

“Yes, Daddy.” Saying those words was intoxicating. Despite telling him I’d need time, I was
