dropped so low I felt it rumble through my body. He was exactly the type of guy I’d been attracted to
when my body craved another man. “I will only give you what you’re willing to accept. If, at any
time, it gets to be too much, tell me and we’ll pull back. Okay?”
“That sounds…nice.” I cringed at my inability to come up with a better adjective. What he
described sounded amazing, fantastic, and dangerous as hell. I didn’t want to open that box because I
knew I’d be weak to put the lid on it.
“Have you checked out the playroom, Corey?” I shook my head, keeping my eyes cast toward the
ground. I didn't dare look up at him for fear he would see how badly I wanted him to stop asking me
questions. “Why not?”
“Because it's still under construction,” I explained. At least, that was the reason I told myself
every night I considered pushing the door open and flicking on the lights.
“Just because it isn't open to the public yet, doesn't mean you can't go in and check it out.”
“I don't want to go in uninvited.”
William held out a hand to me. As he stepped to the opening at the end of the bar, I felt drawn to
him like opposite poles of a magnet. It didn't matter how much I wanted to resist him—I was weak.
After hearing the endless praise from newcomers and veterans of the main club, part of me wanted to
see what all the hype was about. I wanted to experience for myself this kind mastery everyone
claimed William possessed. My hand slid easily into his. The gentle smile I was rewarded with sent
a jolt down my spine and straight to my dick. I had pleased him. I wondered how else I could earn his
approval.
William slid his hand around to the small of my back. It felt natural to sink into his side, allowing
him to hold me upright. I almost said as much when I heard the office door bang against the wall.
The fragile connection between us shattered as I pulled away from him. It was stupid to allow
myself to be pulled into his orbit. We both turned out heads as Sam started whistling his way toward
the front. Did he know what was going on and this was his way of warning us we weren’t alone? No,
that was stupid. How would he have known when the security monitors were all in Jack’s office?
“I’m sorry,” I apologized as I took another step back. “I have to go.”
“I understand.” William offered me a weak smile and a nod. “My offer stands, Corey. It wasn’t a
one-time opportunity.”
“I’ll keep that in mind.” I hoisted my backpack off the floor and waved over my shoulder as I
