“You do realize it’s generally frowned upon to invite yourself to spend the night with someone, right?” I call out.
Tony’s cell phone chimes while he’s in the bathroom. He surprises me when he kneels next to me on the bed and runs the hot washcloth over my overly sensitive skin. “I’m pretty sure we’re past common courtesy at this point, and I don’t hear you complaining about the idea of round two later.”
I really should move, but I’m really comfortable where I’m at. Tony heads for the bathroom again and I close my eyes. When he looks at the text message, he lets out a roar of laughter. I look up as he taps out a reply and I’m pleasantly surprised when he flops down next to me and turns the display so I can see what he’s typing.
Yes, I definitely owe you one.
“Kennedy,” he says, clearing the confusion in my eyes. The phone chimes again. He shifts so he’s sitting with his back against the headboard, patting the mattress between his legs. I smile as I gingerly move to sit with my back leaning against his chest. Tony picks up his phone, holding it in front of me.
If you used everything in that envelope, you owe me a hell of a lot more than one. Love you. Tell Dominic I say hi and that if he hurts you, I’ll tear off his balls with my bare hands.
Instinctively, I move to cover myself. “You know I’m not going to hurt you, right?” To hurt someone, there would have to be an emotional investment and neither of us is stupid enough to let our hearts go where only our dicks belong. Right?
“I know, baby. And I promise you the same.” I smile at the term of endearment. Tony slides out from behind me and guides my head down to the pillows. I reach to turn out the light and feel his arm draping over my body. Tony might be the first guy I’ve been attracted to who’s massive enough to make me feel small in his embrace. Once again, sleep seems to be eluding me.
“Tony?” I whisper, not wanting to wake him if he’s already sleeping. I’m physically exhausted, but somehow, the ending of my night has only raised more questions than were already racing through my mind.
“Hmmm,” he hums, kissing the back of my head as his fingers ghost over my stomach.
Now, I’m second-guessing everything I want.Grow a pair, Dom.“You’re not…you know…” Jesus, this shouldn’t be so hard. We’re both adults, he just had his cock buried so far up my ass I felt it in every cell of my body, so why can’t I just ask him about his preferences?
“Spit it out, Dominic,” he urges. “Otherwise, I’m going to catch a little bit of sleep before I make good on my promise.” My flaccid dick jumps to life at the thought of those firm lips taking me deep.
“Sorry, this is all a bit weird for me,” I admit.
Tony grips my shoulders and rolls me so we’re looking at one another. “What’s weird? Talk to me, please,” he pleads. “Look, Dominic, I like you. A lot, in case you couldn’t tell. I know there’s not going to be a forever for us, but there can be a for-now for us. But only if you’ll talk to me.”
“You’re right.” Tony places a kiss on my cheek before pressing my face to rest against his chest. This sweet, caring side of Tony is a stark contrast to the possessive, demanding man who broke into my hotel room. “And that sounds good to me, but I need to know…you don’t expect me to be your slave or anything like that, do you?”
My head bounces on Tony’s chest as he’s overcome with laughter. He pulls me on top of him so our bodies are lined up from head to toe. “What in the fuck gave you that idea?”
“Fuck, I don’t know. I guess…I just…the way you were talking about punishment and it’s pretty apparent that you like being in control. I just wanted to make sure that’s not what you’re looking for because getting a little freaky is one thing, but I’m not always going to bow to your wishes.”
Rather than respond, Tony claims my mouth in a heated tangle of tongues as he grinds his hips into mine. Despite the recent release, both of us are quickly gearing up for round two. “I think part of why I like you is because I know that. But damn, the way you hand over control to me is hotter than hell. I do like the thought of you knowing exactly who’s in the lead here, but I’d never try to silence you.”
“Okay.” I don’t move off his chest as I relax. We won’t be able to stay this way for long, but for the moment, I love the feel of the heat of our bodies with the cool air around us. “Do you really want this to be more than one night, or was that one of those heat of the moment things?”
“I want whatever you’re willing to give me.” Tony kisses the crown of my head, sliding my body back to the side of his. He wraps his arms around my back so I can’t move away from him. “But for now, we need to get some sleep. Caroline’s got more shit planned for tomorrow and it’s been a long day.”
Right now, both my aching dick and I hate him. I’d try to push for him to finish what he started, but I’m pretty sure both of us are spent at this point. As I succumb to exhaustion, I’m alarmed by the realization that it may be too late to keep feelings out of this equation.
Chapter Seven
Tony
This isthe first morning since coming home that I feel rested. I crack my eyes open, shielding them from the offensive sunlight flooding the room and see Dominic’s body draped over mine, his bare ass sticking into the air. Rather than waking him, I reach for the remote and turn on the television. Re-runs of a cop drama play in the background and I rub slow circles down Dominic’s back. The feeling of him sleeping in my arms is far too comfortable, but I lie to myself by saying that I’ll be fine as long as I remember exactly what this is.
“Good morning.” Dominic’s scratchy voice pulls me out of my thoughts. His lips seal around my nipple as he reaches to the other one, pinching and twisting. “Sleep well?”
I groan when he gets out of bed and I’m forced to watch him walk around the hotel room naked as the day he was born. When he bends over to get something out of the dresser, I have to grip the sheets to keep from lunging at him to pull him back into the bed with me. We agreed last night that we’re going to enjoy the time we do have together and I’m not ready to share that time with family.
“Tony?” Looking up, I see dark, worried eyes staring down at me. “Are you okay?” Dominic sits on the bed next to me, running his fingers through my hair.
“Yeah, fine. Why don’t you come back to bed? We have time before we have to head downstairs.” To keep him from escaping, I lock my arms around his waist and begin biting a path across his hip. His body tenses, then relaxes as he lays down beside me.
“Tony…” Dom protests. “We can sneak back up here later, but we really don’t have time for this.”
“Sure we do,” I argue. I wrap my hand around his morning wood, squeezing gently. “But you’re wasting precious minutes right now.”
