“Where to next?”
“Liquor store.”
“Yippee.”
“Turn your frown upside down. We’re finishing what we started in Denver.”
“Yeah, but it ended in my kidnapping.”
“Boo-hoo, cry me a river. I wish a gazillionaire took me to a private island and fucked my vagina raw.”
After our initial clash, we spent the remaining days walking the beach, swimming in the ocean, and having hot sweaty animal sex. We even went to the mainland and bought a few souvenirs.
“Dude is totallyStalking Lauraobsessed,” Mia says matter-of-factly. “He’s not going to let you go.”
“You think so?” I ask, hope blooming in my chest.
“Oh God, your face lit up like a Christmas tree. You’re a goner.”
I was a goner the first time I laid my eyes on Dominic Stone.
The mouthwatering aroma of frying bacon, potatoes, and French toast fills the kitchen. I got up a little while ago to cook breakfast. It’s almost eleven o’clock, and I haven’t heard a peep out of Mia. She’ll be in bed recovering from a massive hangover all day. I’ll peek in on her later. The party was still in full swing when I hit the hay. Patrick left before I went to my room. I guess the crowd wasn’t his cup of tea. I put earplugs in and dozed off in no time. I woke to a messy apartment. It’ll take hours to clean, but at least drunken bodies didn’t litter the floor. That’s a plus in my book. A bit later, I’m going to head to Dom’s.
“Morning, sexy.”
Screaming, I spin around, holding a hand to my chest.
A guy clad only in a pair of jeans openly ogles me. The denim hangs low on his lean hips, showcasing downy hair and a hard V leading to his private area.
“My apologies for scaring you.” He motions behind me. “I hope there’s enough to share.”
“There isn’t, sorry.”
His gaze strays between my thighs.
“Nice panties,” he says, a come-hither grin on his face
“Hey, eyes up here, buddy.”
“I’m Peter, by the way,” he introduces himself, licking his lips. “And you are?”
“Is Mia up?”
“Who’s Mia?” He looks perplexed.
“The girl you banged last night.”
“Oh yeah, I’m not good with names,” he says sheepishly. “She’s still sleeping.”
Mia and I need to have a serious talk. She promised her one-night stands would be gone by sunrise.
“Peter, you have to leave.”
“Are you sure?” he asks seductively.
“Yes,” I snap, storming past him and barging into Mia’s bedroom. “Oh my God.”
A man is sprawled next to Mia on the bed, and another lies on the floor beside it. All are buck naked and appear comatose.
