“See, that wasn’t so hard. Do you live alone?”
“No.”
“Roommate?”
“My mom.”
“That’s it?” I dig my nails into her thigh when she doesn’t answer. “I asked is that it?”
She grasps my wrist, attempting to pry my hand off her. “Yes!”
“Don’t overcomplicate things. Whatever doesn’t come easy for me is taken by force.”
I turn left into a parking lot. I survey the area. “You live here?”
“Yeah.”
“It’s a dump.”
“It’s what I can afford. Thanks for the ride.”
“Aren’t you going to invite me in for a drink?”
“No.”
“I insist.”
“Tough shit.”
“I’m coming inside whether you like it or not.”
“Fine.”
“I’m glad we understand each other.”
“Fuck you!” Cin yells, bolting from the car.
I immediately give chase. My heart rate increases, sending adrenaline coursing through my veins. I’m hot on her heels as she makes it inside the building. The thrill of the hunt is intoxicating. Cin bursts into a stairwell, racing up the steps two at a time. She flings open a door and darts into a hallway but doesn’t get far before I tackle her. I’m so hungry for her I’ll fuck her anywhere, even on this disgusting floor.
“I like it when you run,” I murmur in her ear.
“You could be seen assaulting me at any moment.”
“Am I supposed to be scared?” I say, flipping her over and settling between her legs.
“I’ll scream.”
“Go ahead.” I kiss along her jawline.
I miss and hate her so fucking much. She vehemently thrashes beneath me, but she’s no match for my strength. My wandering hand admires her lovely curves, then pushes under the waistband of her shorts. Sharp nails rake across my face.
“Goddamn it,” I growl, pinning her wrists above her head to prevent further attack.
Her big doe eyes widen in fear of retaliation. I touch the torn flesh using my free hand, before smearing the blood coating my fingertips over her plump lips. I venture into her shorts for a second time.
“Remember, you drew first blood.” I sink my teeth into her shoulder hard enough to break skin. She lets out a loud scream that ends on a whimper as my finger massages her clit.
A door opens to the left of us. “What’s going on out here?” an elderly man asks.
