“A mistake is only a mistake if you don’t correct it,” she said.
The man looked at her, his irises rimmed in golden light.
“And you want to... correct it? With... me?” he asked, almost dumbfounded. His voice was thick with the tone only alcohol can bring.
“A smart man once told me if you don’t have fun, it is your own damn fault,” she said as she brushed past him, purposefully knocking into his shoulder. “And there’s nothing more enjoyable than bad decisions with a stranger,” she said as she headed toward the door.
She knew he’d take the bait. Coupled with his self-deprecating air, and his lack of confidence in himself, she knew he’d fall into her talons, and for the night that would be enough. Come morning, he would disappear and she would go about her daily life.

“Wait, Athena...” the man’s voice called, and she stopped in her tracks, a sly smile forming on her face.
She turned to look at him over her shoulder, and the sight sent another shockwave through her system.
“I wait for no one. You will just have to keep up,” she said, and with that, she was out the door, the beautiful stranger on her heels.
CHAPTER2
Brian wascertain he must be hallucinating as he caught up with the beautiful woman named Athena. He’d seen the long-legged, blonde bombshell sitting at one of the various tables all evening. He’d thought perhaps if he had a bit of liquid courage, he’d be able to shed his naturally cautious exterior andhave a little fun, as the website had promised. But one drink slowly turned into two, and two into three, and before he knew it, it was nearing the end of the event and he hadn’t moved from the bar.
Just another failure.
He’d garnered perhaps he just wasn’t cut out for dating. Maybe he was just meant to be alone.
Alone and drunk.
And then, as luck would have it, he stumbled right into the very woman he’d be mustering up the courage to speak to all night. Literally.
What were the odds?
Brian found Athena on the corner of the street, illuminated by the silver moonlight. It was a full moon, and he couldn’t help but think about Plato’s claims that the well known Goddess’s namesake came from the Greek wordAthenoa, which in many cases meant ‘moon’ as well as it meant earth or air.
The wind blew softly, rustling her golden locks as he approached her. She grinned at him mischievously.
“Daring to make some bad decisions...”
“Brian,” he breathed as he stared at her silver eyes. They looked positively magical.
“Brian...” she cooed, her voice somewhat reminiscent of a bird, or an owl of sorts.
As he breathed out a nervous sigh, he slid his hand in his pocket, retrieving his phone.
“What are you doing?” she asked curiously.
“F... finding us some transportation.”
Athena smiled, a light giggle escaping her. “How very chaste of you. But you will not need it,” she said as she set her hand on top of his, nudging his hand and phone down.
Brian looked up at her once more, a strange feeling settling over him. Her eyes sparkled like diamonds and he could swear he felt a sense of gravity toward this woman.
As if her words were a spell all of their own.
She tugged him closer. Close enough he was smack up against her, her soft, ample breasts brushing against him, causing him to immediately respond with an audible gasp and a twitch in his cock.
She wrapped her fingers around his wrist, her fingertips smooth against his skin.
“Close your eyes,Brian,” she breathed, her voice like deep, dark waves threatening to pull him under.
