“Thank you for telling us about a possible second vehicle,” Sergi told Bane.“You were right.”
Bane shrugged.“Killian has to win at any cost.Cheat to win.And he doesn’t seem to care how but he’s built up a reputation he can barely live up to.”He looked over at Sergi.“Do not let your guard down yet either.He’ll have his other brother along here soon.He calls himself Gunsmith which is stupid as all fuck.But he also thinks he is better than Killian at killing too.”
“Well, with the way Killian was shooting like an idiot,” James commented.“He probably is better.I mean Donald Duck would be a better shot.”
Kosta laughed.“Maybe even Bugs could hit a target once in a while.”
“Yeah, a loser,” Felix scoffed in disgust.“How did he ever get so far as a hitman or as a protector?”
“Making himself look good at it, by having his brothers shadowing him,” Bane supplied the answer.He looked over at Sergi.“And one of them will arrive here soon.”
Sergi shook his head.“Trying to get into the hotel will only get him killed.”
Bane shrugged.“Gunsmith will still try to kill you.Only the strong survive in his profession.And Arron has two brothers that will take revenge.”
“Is there anything else we need to know about this asshole?”Felix asked Bane.“Besides the fact that he is a bad shot and a puke?”
“When he gets here, you’ll find a shitload of weapons on him.Check his clothing right down to his skin because he’ll be well prepared and well-armed.He doesn’t care how he kills, only that in the end, he gets his man or woman.”
“What about his money?”Yuri asked.“Can we move it out of the equation?”
Bane smirked.“James is already working on that.”He turned and looked at James.“Have you started moving the money yet?”
James nodded.“Oh, yeah big guy, you know it.I love playing Monopoly.And hell, he’s got a lot of money to move.So far, he’s lost about 400 million and he will not get 200 to pass go either.”
Bane whistled then smirked.He then looked over at Serenity and asked, “How much was in the account under my name?”
Serenity smiled and replied, “About another hundred million.But alas, that account is drained as well.I have it in reserve and am hoping my favorite children’s charity gets it.”
Bane nodded.“Check his two brothers’ accounts too.One of the names is Randal Killian and the other Gunsmith is Brent Killian.I’m sure their accounts aren’t as full as Aaron’s but they would have something under their own names.That will bring them both to your turf for sure and your men should be able to take those two losers down.”He stared at Serenity.“And there’s another name to check out...Miranda Killian.That was his mother’s name and he always hated her but he would use her name to hide money from the whole world, including his brothers.There could be a lot of charity money all combined.”
Serenity nodded.“I’ll check out the other names as well.”
“And his father?”Felix wanted to know.
Bane paused then nodded slowly.“...Was the ultimate loser-puke, as you call it.Even Arron cannot hold a candle to that messed up monster.His name was Rufus and he was the first victim Killian had.Maybe his first kill, we should say.He was a poor excuse for a man, a father and a drunk.He would usually swing on the nearest kid or his wife when he was in his cups.I think Aaron was fourteen when he stopped his father’s rage for good.”
“How is it you know so much about his family life?”Roman asked.
Bane stared at him, then shrugged and answered his question, “My grandfather taught me to be what I was.But he schooled me in utter perfection as well.As in never assume, never take anything for granted.Any mistake and you are dead.Research the fuck out of something until there is no trail left.I was an assassin in our modern age but the Jessin line had always been assassins.Our history dates all the way back to King Richard as our ancestor was his personal guard.Then the family went to being a soldier force for the patriarchs.Then that evolved into being a special killing occupation.I was just following family tradition.But to follow that I made up my mind to be the best there was.And I did just that.At one time, I was the best and the most feared but I also had conditions.I only filled the contracts of men who would not be missed by the world.I never went after a woman or a kid.I did not just take every contract I was offered.I always had to have a good reason for taking out a man.I made so much money I could easily be picky.And when I didn’t have a good reason, I didn’t take that contract.I also never did a hit in front of the families.That was my code and I upheld it every single day.”
The group all listened in fascination as he laid his past profession out.
“As I said, I did my homework on every single detail.I learned everything I could.Not only about my contracts but about all the other people in my profession.Killian was only one of many other professionals I did backgrounds on.My files are sacred to me and me alone.I don’t share what I know with anyone unless that information is needed and then only what needs to be known.In this case, you needed to know about that family.I wanted to be on this mission to take Killian and his brothers down.I have had updates on their activities, even though I am not in that game anymore.”He paused then added, “But Killian was working for LaDonna in that capacity and not just paying for weapons.We don’t know yet what the other contact in this is doing.”
Sergi growled.“That's true enough.”He looked over at Kosta.“Do we even know where Dominic is?Is he in Russia or is he here too?”
“No one can find him in Moscow and I have people searching in a few other places there.”Kosta shook his head.
“So, he could be here already?”Felix asked.
“Yes, he not only could be, but there he is,” Nicky spoke up.
They all looked over at his screen.
A limo had already pulled up and a man had just exited the large black car while the driver stood by the open back door.
Yuri paused and stared then he shook his head.“That is our hotel entrance.”
