“It’s all yours, Av,” I said before dipping to press our mouths together.

She accepted me instantly, parting her lips so my tongue could slip inside. I grabbed the backs of her thighs, her flesh yielding to my grip, and lifted her onto the counter so I could properly consume her.

I refused to let her come up for air, kissing her until she pushed on my chest, begging to breathe. After a few more seconds, I backed away, watching her gasp before diving into her again.

Avery was a drug I couldn’t get enough of. She was all I needed to be happy and whole. As long as I had her, nothing could touch me.

Days turned into weeks, then months. Before I knew it, I’d settled into our new life, and three months passed quickly.

Everything was perfect.

The stuff he had me shop for arrived within days of our move, and we spent the following week getting the house just the way we—though Rowen was annoyingly agreeable with everything I said—wanted.

Rowen had only worked outside the home for one day, and he was back by the time I went to bed. Everything else—emails, phone calls, even video meetings—he handled in his office, which happened to be the only room that oozed his personality.

He’d painted the walls a dark blue, a color that complemented the dark wood accents and fireplace. His desk was huge, big enough to lie across—we’d tested it multiple times. His shelves were full of books and pictures of me or us together.

I hadn’t cooked a single meal for Rowen. The only time I got my hands on a pan was when he got an important phone call and had to step away, leaving me to man the stove for what seemed like two seconds. He insisted on cooking for me, that it was hislove language.

Every love language was his love language.

Rowen encouraged me to take online courses if I was interested but that I didn’t need to. He assured me our finances would be just fine, so I should choose what made me happy and not what made the most sense. I opted to take another semester off and maybe start up again for the fall semester.

He bought me anything I could have ever wanted and then some. Most of the time, I didn’t even ask. There were even a couple of instances when I had searched for something on my phone but never actually ordered it, yet somehow, it appeared a few days later.

He gave me back and foot massages daily—even brushed my hair before bed every night—saying he wanted me happy and relaxed. Those massages usually ended up with us naked, putting our furniture to good use. The woods surrounding us were a huge bonus as well.

“Are you ready, kitten?” he said in my ear, his hands on my bare hips as we stood on the edge of the forest.

The soft rain was cool against my skin, falling down my breasts, running over my nipples, making me shiver.

I nodded, my heart pounding in my chest, scared and thrilled all at once.

“Two minutes.” He started going through our rules. “Run as far and as fast as you can. I want you to fight me when I catch you. Don’t make it easy, okay?” He kissed my neck. “I want to force you to give in. I want to hear you beg me to stop while I fuck you into the ground. Give me your best, little kitty, and I’ll make you see fucking stars.”

I forced a swallow, my body shaking with anticipation. Rowen remained behind me, probably loving the way I squirmed uncomfortably.

“Rowen…” I whispered, frustrated, needing our games to begin before I exploded.

He’d made me go three days without an orgasm, edged me multiple times as he laughed sadistically, never letting me cross the finish line.

“Is someone excited?”

Fucking understatement.

If he didn’t fuck me soon,Iwas going to be the one chasinghim. I needed him inside me, using me, more than anything. The bastard had turned me into an addict.

To make matters worse, Rowen waspaintedthis time instead of wearing his balaclava. He’d gotten jealous when I liked a video of a man painted to look like a skull with a wide smile. He even copied the black body paint, only leaving one spot uncovered.

My initials.

The only reason we made it out of the house was Rowen’s determination to ‘use me thoroughly’, since I’d been a bit mouthy with all the edging.

“Run,” he barked with a low growl.

So, I did.

I took off into the woods, immediately darting to the left up the hill behind our home, knowing that when I was out of Rowen’s sight—even though he’d promised not to look—I was going to run to the right.
