“You better fucking believe it.”
Chapter 9 Rael
“You sure you still want to do this?” I asked, leaning against the wall beside the door where Nylah had opened it a crack.
“I do.”
I shivered. Hearing her say that turned me on. “Then meet me out here in ten minutes.”
“I will.” Her hand slid outward, reaching for mine.
I kissed it. “See you soon, my beloved.”
I tugged on the black button-down dress shirt I wore underneath my cut. It was stiff and uncomfortable, but I only had to wear it until we exchanged vows and took our first ride as husband and wife. After that, I’d rip it off.
The Crossroads was full. Every member stood in attendance with their ol’ ladies and families. Many of our friends from other chapters and clubs showed their loyalty to Grim and me by arriving in time for our ceremony and ride.
Crow, Raven, and Cuckoo had joined us from the Devil’s Murder MC, and I smirked at Cuckoo, noting his shirt looked like he’d painted on a tuxedo. His leather pants had gold stitching. On his face, he’d worn the same black-and-white makeup, but changed the look so it differed from mine. He looked badass.
“Thanks for being here, brother.”
He clapped me on the back. I wouldn’t miss it.”
Maddog, Skel, Manic, and the rest of the Las Vegas chapter had also come and stood with their ol’ ladies.
Down the row I went, embracing and thanking all those who had come to help me celebrate making my woman official. She was going to have a property cut to wear on her back, and Icouldn’t think of a damn thing sexier than seeing her wear it while my baby grew inside her womb.
I was one lucky bastard.
By the time I reached Exorcist, who was an actual preacher, I thought my cheeks were gonna stay plastered in this stupid grin for the rest of my life. Not that I wouldn’t love it.
But everything faded the moment I saw Nylah. The voices quieted around me, as did every single sound. There was only my heartbeat thundering inside my chest. The air nearly froze inside my lungs. Every part of me reacted to her, longed for her. I only had eyes and ears and a thick, engorged cock for her. My beloved. My kitten. My precious lifeblood.
She truly was the light to my darkness. The only reason I was still sane. She showed me that I could love and be loved. That I was worthy of happiness and it was okay to embrace it.
For weeks leading up to today, I had practiced what I wanted to say to her, how I wanted her to know what she meant to me. I’d changed into a better man because she believed in me.
They all flew out of my head when I saw her in that dress.
Wow.
White lace, beautiful full tits nearly toppling out of the top, but the best part was the black material poking through as she walked toward me, weaving in and out of her long legs to expose the black boots she wore: a biker babe and a golden goddess. Only one woman could be both so effortlessly.
I choked on my vows, stuttered, and finally said fuck it, crushing my mouth to hers. As I broke the kiss, I shouted, “I do,” and told everyone she was mine, so back the fuck off.
Laughter echoed around us as she slid her arms around my neck. Her big blue eyes twinkled. “I do, Rael. Today, and forever.”
Yeah, that was all I needed to hear.
Exorcist said a few words I would never remember, my entire focus on Nylah. She looked so radiant that she could have been her own sun. Blonde hair spilled in waves down her back, and I hauled her closer as she wrapped her legs around my waist.
My lips claimed hers a second time, possessing it, consuming her, and claiming her as mine in front of everyone. Finally, I pulled back to stare into her eyes. We didn’t have to say the words; our love was so powerful that it didn’t need them.
“Let’s ride!”
I carried Nylah to my bike, waving at Gavin and Gage as they stood with Cam. She kept them with her as Mimi bounced Gia.
“Are you saying forever with Mama?” Gavin asked.
