"Well guys, I chose to end the evening with a less rock song. It wasn't written for her, but I know how much she loves it so, tonight love, this is yours!" I say looking up at her, and the crowd screams and starts calling her.

We finish the concert thanking the audience, I still can't believe how quickly the time has passed. In the backstage, Angel talks to a group of fans who are waiting for us. I sign autographs while Angel takes pictures of us.

We thank everyone and in the end we get in the car and go home, it will be the last night together, tomorrow afternoon we will have to leave for Chicago and start the scheduled concerts. I can't wait to come back here for the last concert of the season.

On the way home Angel leans into my arms and falls asleep. I can't blame her, all of this was possible thanks to her, she worked so hard with Gabriel to name all this possible. I kiss her head, inhaling the scent of her floral shampoo. I will miss these little gestures.

I don't know how she manages to keep up with everything, between SMD and Fame, the talent where many aspiring singers hope to land in this world, the days fly by. I am so proud of her, even if it means that for some of my concerts, I will not be able to have her by my side. At least I will know that when I come home, she will be there, in my sheets, and in my life. Forever.

Chapter15

Angel

Moving was fun. It took me a week to finish fixing everything. Finally the house looks decent. I only have two boxes left to fix but it's home office stuff so they can wait.

Messages and phone calls are the new everyday life, for now. Between meetings, conferences, interviews, and the talent show on which I collaborate as a judge, the days pass quickly and returning home without seeing him often makes me feel alone.

I check the agenda that Lilly updated earlier, I have a meeting at two p.m. in Austin on Friday and I might surprise Matt. It's not often that I find myself in the same city with him, so I'm thrilled to be in his arms.

After an almost sleepless night and a turbulent flight, landing in Austin feels like a miracle. I trust Luke, our pilot, but I had the feeling of never getting here.

I had to make Chris swear not to tell Ryan, the security guard for the band, about our arrival. I know the band's routine well and I know that the night before the concert they relax.

The receptionist was very kind to tell me Matt's room number. Arriving in front of the door I knock and after what seemed like an eternity, Matt opens the door with the towel tied around his waist while drying his hair. A heavenly vision. The astonishment on his face is priceless as soon as he sees me.

"Love…" He takes me in his arms pulling me into the room kicking the door that closes while kissing me. God how I missed his kisses!

He walks away and looks at me. “Are you here? For real?"

I smile stroking his cheek, he leans it on my hand, closing his eyes.

"You are beautiful! What are you doing here?" He asks excitedly. “Not that I'm complaining, I was going crazy at the idea of having to wait two weeks to see you."

"I know, I have a meeting tomorrow at two p.m. downtown, and I'm leaving on Saturday morning."

His mischievous smile makes me tremble. I already know what he's thinking, and I bite his lower lip kissing him.

"You are too dressed, baby." He tells me in a tone so sensual and demanding that it makes me wet, loving me as he always does, taking me to peaks so high that I feel dizzy.

When the alarm goes off, we both complain, but we know we have to start the day.

After a shower, we join the boys for breakfast. As soon as she sees me, Faith hugs me so tightly that it takes my breath away. We became friends and I love talking to her.

"When did you arrive?" Faith asks me.

"Last night, I have work to do here, but I'm leaving early."

"What a pity, it would have been great to have you with us until the end."

"You still have a few concerts and you're done. You will enjoy a well-deserved vacation."

"I know, and it's so thrilling to hear our songs being sung or hearing them on the radio but seeing him always on the phone is sad."

"I'm sorry, unfortunately I have work to do and I can't always be here. For now, enjoy these concerts, when you come back, you will find your first album."

"Already?" ask Lucas and Ice in chorus.

"Yeah, William worked really hard on it, and I'd like to release it before your world tour."
