Angel
The ringing of my cell phone wakes me up.
“Hello?”
“Good morning sleepyhead!”
“Jack, what happened?”
He laughs and I sit up in bed while Matt wraps his arms around me.
“Look at the tabloids, sis!”
I touch Matt's arm who complains and frees me, I turn on the laptop and as soon as it connects to the Wi-Fi network, my mailbox is filled with emails, the social networks have lots of notifications. I open google and open Elle, Cosmopolitan, Star, GQ, Okay, People, Vanity Fair, Us. We are on the covers of all the tabloids, not just me and Matthew as couple of the year but also DarkHeaven. “Holy shit!”
“Congratulations, sis! You were amazing last night!”
“Don't remind me about it, I can't believe what I did!” I complained and burst out laughing.
“You were fantastic. You will have a lot of work when you return. I have to go now, bye, sis!”
“Bye, Jack!”
I open the social networks and people talk about us and DarkHeaven and I smile. I did not expect such a fuss.
I open the email and almost faint.
"Oh my God!"
"Mmm, baby, come back to bed!" Matt complains. I crawl on the bed with the laptop, and I shake him.
"Love, wake up, because I have to tell you something important!"
He opens his eyes and looks at me. "I'm awake babe, what's up?"
"I started planning concerts for you from July onwards."
"Yes, I had seen, they had confirmed availability."
"Yeah, and that means ticket sales have started too."
"Okay ... and is that bad?"
I showed him the dates. He widens his eyes, looks at me, rubs his eyes and looks at the computer again.
"All the dates for this year are already sold out!" I told him. He is speechless, shocked, incredulous, and excited. He hugs me and kisses me.
"Call Gabriel and the boys; let's have breakfast together and share the good news with them."
