"Izy?"

She stops but doesn't turn.

"Look at me." I see her take a breath, and then she turns and blushes, "Come here," I tell her, opening my arms. After a few seconds of indecision, she hugs me. "There must be no embarrassment between us. It's just us. We can talk about everything, and I'll always be here to listen to you. Okay?"

She nods, and I kiss her head.

"Let's go shopping. I need a couple of things and then let's go for a trip maybe. What do you think?"

She looks at me, smiles, and unexpectedly gets up on her toes to kiss me.

"Okay. Let's do it."

"Great, but first I want my coffee."

"I didn't mean the trip. Let's get married,” she says, catching me off guard.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. You know me, and you know how imperfect I am. At least then I wouldn't feel judged. What could go wrong?"

Fall in love with you, baby.

Chapter Twelve

Isabel

Idreamed all my life of my Prince Charming, but with him, I feel special. It makes me feel loved, but I know it's just my stupid imagination. Still, in the shower, he made me experience what only my friend Charlie, my trusty battery-powered friend, has made me achieve. Only this was a thousand times better. I want to feel him, be possessed by him.Who knows why he held back.

When I went back to the bathroom to bring him a towel, I couldn't stop watching him pleasuring himself. It was so erotic that it made me wet. I wanted to join him in the shower and ask him to let me finish that sweet game. But I didn't have the courage, so I went to the kitchen to make coffee.

This time is the last that Dad decides for me. One month, just one month of a fake marriage, and then he'll leave. It’ll be easy. We get married, and then we cancel everything—friends like we were before. I just have to not find him irresistible and not fall in love with him.

We go shopping, and I notice many women drooling over him. I get jealous.

"Come with me,” he says, pulling me into a jewelry shop. He chooses a fantastic ring with a blue stone. It's impressive.

"It’s a unique and rare piece. Blue diamonds are highly sought after and increasingly rare," the seller tells us.

"We take it. My fiancée is my blue diamond," he replies as he gives the store clerk the credit card.

"Congratulations!"

"Thanks."

We say goodbye and leave the shop to go for lunch.

"You shouldn’t have."

"I’d never have put the family ring on your finger, and not because you don't deserve it, but because I hate this stupid tradition. You’re so much more precious to me,” he says, kissing me. It's the best thing anyone has ever said to me.

After buying the necessities, we return to the cabin to change. I don't know what Nate has in mind but I trust him.

"You look beautiful," he tells me as soon as he sees me in jeans and sneakers. "Ready for an adventure?"

"Like when we were little?" I ask him. I can see the excitement in his eyes. The years have passed and we are adults but I can still see little glimpses of Nate as a child. I like it.

Inverness is a treasure, full of history and wonderful places. We visit the botanical garden, the various castles, and the ruins of Urquhart Castle. Then we end up on a loch cruise, chasing Nessie.
