Grinning slightly, he nodded toward the menu for me to look it over. “It’s cute seeing you all flustered and shit. To answer your question, I’m having a cool time. My siblings are running me crazy and draining my pockets, but I’m glad we were able to get some time in with each other. How about you and Stacy? My brother told me she’s a wild one.”

Giggling, I examined the menu and knew immediately I wanted pasta. I hoped this man didn’t think less of me when I ordered because I was, for sure, going in.

“Stacy is definitely wild. That’s my girl, though, and I wouldn’t trade her for anything.” I couldn’t help but smile when I spoke of my best friend. She was more of a sibling to me than Rowan these days. “We’re having a great time, and I almost don’twant to go back home. Speaking of…” I glanced above the menu, and like always, his eyes were on mine. “How is it that I’m from Milly Grove, and I’ve never seen you? Scotlyn told me you’re a doctor.”

Before he could answer, the waiter came over to get our food orders. He was very attractive with his long locs and mocha skin. Before he opened his mouth to speak, I knew he was a native. After giving him our orders, JJ and I resumed our conversation.

“To answer your question, I’m not from the city.” He took a sip from his Hennessy and Coke while I kept it simple with my lemon drop. “I moved there a few years ago when my brother got settled with the Reapers, and I decided to take a job with the ME’s office. I still don’t know the many faces of Milly Grove, but I’ll never forget yours.” He winked, causing me to blush. “How about you? You said you’re from the city. You’ve been there your whole life?”

“Yes.” I nodded, smiling when the waiter came back with our food. I was impressed by the fast service and hoped the food was up to par. The waiter winked at me as he placed the oversized round bowl in front of me. The gesture wasn’t missed by JJ, and the scowl on his face proved it. “I’ve been there my entire life. My father’s into politics, and me and my brother own our own businesses, so we just never left.”

Reaching across the table, I grabbed his hand, saying a brief prayer over the food. For a few minutes, we didn’t speak at all because I was not playing around with my meal. The crab and shrimp pasta paired with the Caesar salad was the best I’d had in a long time.

“No disrespect, but for you to be so tiny, your little ass can eat,” he said in an amused tone. “You want to order more?”

“I might.” I covered my mouth and laughed, causing him to do the same. “Thank you for the invite, JJ. I started to flake.”

“Why? You still with that nigga?” I could hear the minor irritation in his tone. “Just so you know, I don’t give a fuck if you are. I’ve always been the one to take what I want, whether it was up for grabs or not. Remember that.”

Giving no room for discussion about TJ and my status, we continued eating our dinner. Talking was kept to a minimum, but that didn’t mean we weren’t stealing glances at each other. Between his stares and the wine, I was ready to get out of here and make a decision I was sure would make my best friend proud.

“Thank you so much for dinner. The food and light conversation were refreshing,” I stated after the table had been cleared.

Finishing his second drink while I downed the remnants of my first, we stood to leave the restaurant. Once outside, he invited me for a walk on the beach, and I accepted. The shoreline was empty, and I was happy to have the ocean as our only audience. While the weather had been pleasant, the water was cool, so I settled for letting my toes sink into the grainy sand. Feeling grounded, I admired the stars, the moon, the waves, and the man—all within my view and a marvelous sight to see. As the waves crashed against the shore, I basked in the peaceful melody they made as JJ held my hand, having his own serenity.

Breaking the silence, I said, “I’m going to be so sad when it’s time to return home.”

“How about I give you something to remember?” He looked down at me, that handsome smirk showing on his face. “Be mine, Bloss Baby, even if it’s just for one night.”

“Be yours how, JJ?”

Not responding, he chuckled and continued to lead us down the beach, our hands never detaching. Once we began to round the curve in the shoreline, what I saw brought tears to my eyes. A small, sandy cove held tealight candles and rose petals, scattered all about, making for a very romantic scene. A bucket of champagne sat near a blanket spread out, just big enough for us two. Peering up at him, I couldn’t help but stare in awe.

“Wow…” I whispered, still admiring the setup. “No one has ever done anything for me like this before, JJ.”

Stepping in front of me and placing his finger underneath my chin, he thumbed my lone tear before dropping his lips to mine. Just like the small peck he gave me days before, the kiss was perfect thanks to his lips that were pillow soft. Dropping my sandals, I placed my hands on his cheeks and eased my tongue into his mouth. Dominating the kiss and asserting his supremacy over me, he lifted me up. I was far from mad at his takeover, choosing to wrap my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist as he led us toward the blanket. The way he gripped my ass with his hands had my juices flowing faster than the waves that continued to crash against each other. I could feel his hardening dick stabbing me, and I wanted like hell to reach down and grab it.

“Papa…” I moaned, throwing my head back as he kissed along my jaw and neck. “Shit.”

“What the fuck are you doing to me, Bloss Baby?” His entire face clenched, defining his jawline even more than usual. Grinding his dick into my wet center, he whispered, “I want you so fuckin’ bad.”

“Take me,” I panted. “Right here under the stars.”

Pulling back, he eyed me to see if I was serious, and I met his intense glare with my own.

JJ and I may have had a drink or two, but I wasn’t so under the influence that I didn’t know what I was saying. This man, Doctor Jaseon McKnight Jr., made me feel things I’d never felt. With TJ, I never felt connected. We were just coexisting in each other’s worlds, trying to make something passionless work.Spending time with JJ was showing me I’d never felt tenderness and want to this magnitude.

When he placed me on my feet, I took the chance to show him that I was serious. With my heart beating like a hundred-pound drum, I pulled my dress down to my ankles, exposing myself to him. I’d never felt so vulnerable before as I did at this moment.

“Do you know what you’re asking me to do, Blossom?” He stepped closer to me again, tracing my sensitive nipple that had pebbled with his finger. “Once I enter your body, you will never want another man. Your soul will belong to me.”

“Let’s just focus on tonight.” I dropped to my knees before him. With shaky hands, I reached for his belt and began to undo it. Pushing his expensive slacks down his strong thighs, my mouth hit the floor at the sight of him hanging from his boxer briefs. He took the saying “hung like a horse” to a new meaning. “I just want to capitalize on being with you, right here, right now. However, I’ll tell you… I’m not experienced in ways you’re probably used to.”

Focusing back on the biggest dick I’m sure any woman would ever see in this lifetime, I reached for it. Before I could pull his dick from his boxer briefs, he placed his hand on mine to stop me. The fear of rejection hit me like a ton of bricks. Peering up at him, I could see the lust he had for me, so why did he want me to stop?

“Lay back for me…” He nodded toward the sand. “If this dick is what you want, this dick is what you’re going to get.” Even under the moonlight, I could see how long and thick his dick was against his thigh. Removing it from his boxer briefs, he stroked himself as he peered down at me. “Tell me, baby, is that pussy wet for me?”

Lying on the blanket, I propped myself up on my elbows, spreading my legs wide so he could get a better view of just howwet I was. I slid my pointer and middle finger up and down my slit before dipping them inside. I may have been a virgin, but I was no stranger to my body.
