There were tears streaming from his eyes, spittle wetting his lips as he glared at her. “Me,” he spat at her.
“Yes! Finally, a correct answer. Now, the next part… Guess who was in hiding with her?”
“My fucking kids,” he yelled angrily.
“Well, yes. But, are you upset she took your kids? Is that why you’re angry?”
He opened his mouth but she held up a finger and waggled it back and forth right in front of his face. “No, No, No! Think before you answer or you might have to pay for another wrong answer with another nail through your dick!” She flicked a gaze down between his legs to his hand now nailed to his dick, which had already been pierced with its own nail. “You have what, three inches there — on a good day. There are only two piercings, and a hand, so I think there’s an inch we haven't addressed yet, then I could start on your balls.”
He whimpered.
“I’m so loving this game!” she exclaimed, then her smile dropped and she looked into his eyes. “Answer my question.”
“No! I hated the little fuckers! All she did was pay attention to them! I should have come first! It’s about me! Fucking pains in my ass.”
Tempest swirled her finger and the gun rotated in his ass.
He howled in pain, his entire body tensing.
“See, she’s my family, and my friend… well, she will be, but that’s beside the point. And those babies, they deserve a father that loves them, a warm, safe home to live in. Not a mother who has to run away and hide them away in a homeless camp to keep them all, herself included, safe from a psychotic fuck of a person who doesn’t even deserve to be called a man who is so fuckinginsecure that he has to compete with his own children for their mother’s attention,” she shouted, her voice taking on a deep masculine quality as it boomed at him, while two more nails pierced him without warning. One through his balls, and one through his cheek bone angling down through his jaw, nailing his jaws together.
He couldn’t scream anymore because his mouth was nailed shut, he simply lay there and whimpered, his entire body trembling in pain as he was practically unable to move for fear of anything already causing pain shifting and hurting even more.
“Oh, well, that’s not going to work. We can’t play my game anymore. You can’t talk. Ah, well. Here’s what we’re going to do, then. I’m going to tell you why I’m here instead of letting you guess. In short, you and your family forced a man to give you his sixteen year old daughter in exchange for his life because of a debt he owed you. Your father forced her to marry your disgusting ass. You impregnated her and kept her as a slave basically. Yes, yes, I know, you did allow her to go to school and finish her education, but that was your father’s doing, not yours, because he didn’t want an uneducated woman attached to the family and he was hoping with your stupid ass being his only heir, that she could somehow manage to guide you and teach your kids to run the family after you managed to get your stupid self killed.”
His eyes looked at her in shock.
“I know. I’d have thought he had more faith in the piece of shit son he created, too. Anyway, you sent men to kill those babies tonight. And you told them to bring her back so you could make her suffer with your own hands. News flash! Your men are dead. And you got me instead. Now, I know you’re wondering ‘why you’. And the simple truth of the matter is that the men who stole her life from her… your father, her father, oh, and yourbuds you sent after her— they’re in hell, now. They’re paying for their sins against her. Want to know how I know?”
The man’s eyes were wide with fear as he shook his head as much as he dared with the searing pain already in his cheek and jaw. He actually started trying to scoot away from her.
She reached out and laid a hand on his arm. “Let me show you,” she said, smiling sweetly, the stench of the rotting flesh between her teeth making his eyes burn as she forced him to stare directly into her eyes.
He started sobbing as he looked through her eyes and into the abyss. Souls wailing in agony, their wispy limbs reaching out in every direction begging for relief. A combination of searing heat and burning cold roasting those who were not yet wraith like as they pled for mercy; the creatures standing at their sides relaxedly snacking on the hearts of their victims, as they watched their bodies slowly disintegrate, leaving nothing but the soul behind.
Tempest shook him to bring him back to the here and now. His eyes were terrified as he looked at her. She smiled sweetly. “So, here’s what’s going to happen. I’m gonna just toss you in there, and let them do with you what they will. A couple of my favorites are already waiting for you. So, anyway, consider it a gift from me to you, on behalf of Giada and her babies. And be glad I’m in a hurry, otherwise, I’d have days and days and days to play. But, don’t be too sad. I travel though the darkness every once in a while. Maybe we can catch up and spend some time together again. Did you know that though people die, souls can continue to suffer for eternity?”
He started shaking his head despite the nail in his face. “Mmmm. Nnnnnn. Mnnnn,” he mumbled, trying to beg for mercy.
“What’s that? No? Oh, but, yes. So much yes.” She stood from where she kneeled over him, and effortlessly lifted himwith one hand. Then she stepped back, gesturing toward the air in front of her, where a shadow appeared and expanded. She grinned at him. “Have fun!” and tossed him into the shadow, the squeaks and muted sounds of his pitiful attempt at begging the last thing she heard before she shooed the shadow away with both hands. She brushed her hands together and sighed in satisfaction as she smiled and turned to glance around the room. Her gaze landed on the two women clinging to each other in the hot tub, shivering but not from cold. They were terrified. “You’ve made some really, really bad decisions. Is this the best you thought you could do?” she demanded.
One of the women nodded as she began to cry.
Tempest shook her head. “Get up. Get dressed. And do something worthwhile. Go make something of yourselves! Don’t depend on a man to make your way in life! Make your own damn way!”
Both of them nodded.
“Get out of the water!” Tempest shouted.
They scrambled to get out, and stood on the carpet dripping.
“Get out!” she yelled. “If you make a choice like this again, I’ll be back to see you! Do you understand?!”
“Yes,” they both sobbed, bumping into each other in their hurry to grab clothes and towels and get out of the room.
“And maybe go see a priest or something! Cleanse your souls. Be a better person!” Tempest called after them. She stood there for a few seconds, before she added. “Get thee to a nunnery, or something like that. Damn, just stop hanging with criminals.” She looked around again. “Well, that was fun. Back to the problem at hand, I guess.”
