The parking of the car, the leading me up to his apartment, it was all a blur. My wildest fantasies were coming to life, and I couldn’t get my brain to slow down long enough to enjoy it. Time seemed to speed up like someone was holding down the fast-forward button on the remote of my life. All I wanted to do was pause so I could enjoy.
Ever since realizing I was gay, I knew I wanted a bigger man to dominate me. I loved the feel of a man holding me down, having his way with me. consensual, of course.
It was why I wrote the things I did. And based on the readership I had, I wasn’t alone in my desires.
Griff’s grip on my hand was solid, firm. He tugged me into his apartment, then down the hall to what I was going to assume was his bedroom. It wasn’t until we got in there that I finally focused and time seemed to slow.
His room was large, with white walls and a few lonely pieces of art decorating the room. Floor-to-ceiling windows covered one wall, showing off the city’s skyline. His king-sized bed was centered on the west wall. The neatly made bed with pillows and plush comforter was a surprise. The muted greens and beige were different than the dark colors I tended to associate with Griff.
“Do you need anything? Water? Perhaps something stronger?”
I shook my head.
“Good. I wouldn’t want alcohol to dull your senses at all.”
As much as I would enjoy the liquid courage, he was right. I wanted to feel everything. I wanted these actions to be my own and not something that came from a bottle.
“Will you be terribly disappointed if we skip the coffee?”
I shook my head. Coffee was the last thing on my mind.
“Hm. Good. We can enjoy some in the morning.”
Griff trailed the backs of his fingers over my cheek and down my neck. His eyes never left mine as if he was gauging every nuance of my reaction.
His touch sent shivers down my spine. His fingers snuck underneath my collar and he began to unbutton my shirt.
“I expected more of a chase, Taylor. Like a rabbit fleeing the wolf.” Griff’s other hand gripped the nape of my neck and he pulled me closer. I gasped in surprise, his lips hovering just over mine. His breath whispered over my lips like a ghost of a kiss. “I’ve caught you now.”
“What will you do with me?” I asked.
A deep rumble radiated from Griff’s chest. “Anything I want.”
His hips were flush with mine now, and the heat of his arousal was hot against my belly. My eyes fluttered closed, and I bit back a groan. This man, these looks he gave me, were going to kill me.
“On the bed, little rabbit. I have a feeling we’ll have to take our time to get your body ready for me. I’m not small.”
My eyes widened, and I let out the most embarrassing squeak. “It’s that big?”
Griff’s smile was slow, teasing. His hand was on my nape still, gently squeezing. “Bigger. Now get on the bed.”
I removed my shirt and let it fall to the floor then climbed onto his bed. He didn’t tell me to get under the covers, so I didn’t. I simply watched him.
The bed provided more comfort than I was used to. The silkiness of the bedspread was cool against my skin.
I didn’t let my gaze stray as he tugged off his shirt. He then shucked off his jeans, revealing massive thighs that could crush me. His one thigh was probably the same circumference as my waist. His muscles bulged and flexed as he closed in on me. The focus in his gaze was predatory, like he truly was the wolf, and I was nothing more than prey caught in his sights. His muscles coiled tight, ready to pounce.
The mattress dipped under his weight as he climbed onto the bed. Even on all fours, he was imposing. His broad shoulders blocked out the light from the windows, casting me in a shadow.
“You’re trembling,” he observed, running a palm up my thigh. I was still in my pants, though that wouldn’t last long based on the hungry look in his eyes.
“Nervous,” I said. “This isn’t my first time or anything. I just… don’t want to disappoint you.”
Griff kissed my lips. “You could never. I’ll take care of you.” His voice was gentler now, reassuring. “Tell me if anything is too much. Promise me, Taylor.”
I nodded, but he shook his head.
“Words. I need to hear you say it.”
