A knock at the door forced them apart.

“Fuck,” Harvey said, adjusting himself.

Just the sight of the erection pressing at the front of Harvey’s dark jeans made Rav’s mouth water. “Maybe they’ll go away.” He reached for Harvey and pulled him close.

“Yeah, ignore it,” Bo said as he gripped Rav’s hand and reached for Harvey with the other.

The doorbell chimed. Whoever it was, they weren’t giving up.

“Sorry, guys. I’ll send them away.” Harvey pulled away, obviously reluctantly, and went to the door. Nigel stepped in the moment it opened.

Rav looked at Bo and shrugged. It looked like their fun times would have to wait.

“What do you need, Nige?” Harvey said, trailing after him to the seating area. “The interview isn’t for another couple of hours.”

“That’s part of what I wanted to talk to you about,” Nigel said as he settled on the couch.

“We’ll wait for you in the other room,” Bo said.

“Actually, you might want to hang around for this. It concerns you both.”

Ravi looked at Bo and was sure his frown matched his own. Whatever it was, it didn’t sound good.

“Is everything okay?” Harvey asked as he took a seat. Bo and Ravi sat on either side of him, all of them facing Nigel.

Nigel sighed. “It’s nothing we can’t deal with but keeping this thing between the three of you quiet is more difficult than we thought.”

“What’s happened?”

Nigel pulled out his phone. “You know how rumours start. Some journo decided to take the info he got from hotel staff plus some photos of you together, to come up with a story.”

Rav’s stomach fell.

“Shit.” Harvey immediately reached for Rav’s hand and looked at him. “I didn’t want news of us to get out like this. I’ve been so careful to keep my distance in public.”

“No, you’ve got it wrong,” Nigel explained. “The article isn’t about you being part of a throuple. The housekeeper shared information about the three of you sharing a two-bedroom suite, and assumed Bo was a friend who’d joined you, but the journalist—if you can call him that—was at the party then decided to follow you around. He was looking for something that wasn’t there and has come up with the story that Bo and Rav are an item.”

“I thought you said they didn’t know we’re all together?” Bo said, brows drawn together.

“They don’t. They think Rav is cheating on Harvey.” Nigel held out his phone.

Harvey took it and the three of them leaned in to look at the article. It appears that not even the celebrity status of hot Sydney rocker Harvey Shaw isn’t enough to keep his man from straying.

Rav’s eyes widened. “They think I’m cheating on you. What the fuck?”

“So, I’m supposedly doing the dirty behind my friend’s back. I’m the other guy?” Bo sounded incredulous.

Rav didn’t blame him. This whole thing was fucked up.

“Let me see what it says,” Harvey said as he started reading the article. He looked up after a moment, mouth drawn tight. “It’s total bullshit.”

“I’m so sorry, Harvey, and you too, Rav. I didn’t mean to put you guys in this position.” Bo reached across and placed a hand on Rav’s knee. “I know this makes things difficult for you both.”

“Don’t worry about it,” Harvey said, placing his hand on top of Bo’s where it rested on Rav’s knee. He looked from one to the other. “You love each other. It’s only natural that you’d show affection, like all the little touches. Those special brushes against each other and soft smiles are one of the reasons I knew how much the two of you cared about each other.”

“Still, I should have been more careful,” Bo said.

“Then I should have been more careful, too, Bo. Like Harvey said, it’s not your fault. It’s mine too.”
