“A quiet night in for us,” Rav said. “I’m trying a new recipe I saw on TikTok. You’re welcome to stay for dinner, we have heaps.”

“I won’t say no.” Parker accepted the beer from Harvey and hopped up on the stool next to Bo.

Harvey passed another beer to Bo and squeezed his shoulder on the way past. Bo smiled at him. God it was good to have him home and he loved the little touches.

“What next, Rav?” Harvey asked.

“Can you peel the garlic cloves for the dressing?” Ravi indicated the bulb. “Bo, I’m crumbing chicken breasts that’ll be sliced for the top of the salad. I can either leave it off yours or replace it with some fried tofu, but you know how that turned out last time.”

Bo chuckled at the memory of the failed attempt. “I’m fine without, but thanks.”

“Okay, there’s the garlic, Rav. If you’ve got it under control, I’m going to go unpack then take a quick shower to wash the travel grime off,” Harvey said.

“Perfect. It’ll be ready in about half an hour.”

“Oh, hang on,” Bo said, and Harvey stopped at the door. “I’m off tomorrow. I’m going to do a load of washing before meeting Rav for lunch, so toss anything you need washed into the laundry.”

“Thanks. Will do.” Harvey smiled and disappeared down the hall.

“Lunch’ll be fun. I’ve been looking forward to it all week. It’s a shame Harvey can’t come but he’s got a meeting,” Rav said then turned to the stove to get a pan heated for the chicken breast.

“Next time. At least we’ve got a weekend away to look forward. I’ll have to check my roster but I’m sure I’ll be able to swap a shift if necessary.” Bo finished slicing the cabbage as he spoke then pushed the board across the bench.

“Thanks, babe.” Rav dumped the shredded cabbage into the salad bowl.

“You all look so domesticated,” Parker said with a laugh. “Like one big happy family.”

Bo paused what he was doing and looked up.

Ravi was wide-eyed, knife paused in the air. “Ah—”

Parker’s gaze flicked to Bo. His did a double-take. “Oh my God! You are! What the fuck, Bo!”

Bo jumped to his feet. “It’s not what you think it is.”

“Oh no, I think it’s very much what I think it is. You and RavandHarvey. Holy shit! How did I not see this coming?”

Bo relaxed. Thank fuck Parker didn’t think he’d come between Rav and Harvey. But that didn’t mean he approved. “It’s sort of new.”

Rav came and stood next to Bo, wrapping an arm around him. “We’re all together.”

“I can see that, and now that I know, it’s so obvious in the way you behave around each other. I think it’s awesome.” Parker’s grin was wide. “Oh my God, does anyone else know?”

“Not yet. We’re seeing how things go first, just enjoying each other’s company.”

Parker waggled his brows. “Ah, enjoying the honeymoon period.”

Bo felt his face flushing, but it was true; they were making the most of every opportunity to explore this thing between them.

Harvey came back to the kitchen, dressed in sweats and holding a towel to his damp ringlets. He looked at Bo and Ravi who were still plastered together, and Parker. “What’s going on?”

Parker placed his hands on his hips. “I think you have something you want to tell me. Right, big brother?”

Harvey stopped towelling his hair and Bo could see the moment the penny dropped. “Uh-oh.”

Chapter Sixteen

“Okay, settledown. We’vegot a lot to get through this meeting.” Nigel Fortier, the band’s manager, took a seat at the end of the boardroom table. He tapped his notebook as he read something from the pages.
