“I’m going to take your pants off now,” Jason stated as he gazed at the man beneath him.

Sean looked up at Jason. He wasn’t going to pretend that everything was 100 percent fine, because it wasn’t. He was so nervous, the butterflies were swarming in his stomach again, and he bit his lip as he fought to maintain eye contact. Sean knew most of the feeling was the wonderful anticipation of him and Jason being together, but he was smart enough to recognise that part of the tension was the worry about Jason’s reaction. But it was now or never. In his heart, he was sure this was right, and he just needed to trust.
So he did.
He smiled at Jason, giving him all the permission he needed.
First the top button was snapped undone, followed by the zipper being slowly lowered. Jason grasped the pants on either side and pulled them lower, so Sean raised his hips to allow Jason to pull them down over his arse. He then performed the same treatment with the black boxer briefs, lowering them to expose Sean’s eager, waiting cock. Sean shivered as Jason bent over, nuzzling his pubic hair and inhaling his scent before sitting back on his haunches and pulling the pants and briefs all the way off.
This is it, thought Sean, and he lifted his legs to kick the clothes off his feet.
Focused entirely on Jason’s reaction, Sean held his breath as he watched Jason take in his body. He wished time would speed up as he forced himself to stay perfectly still despite the desire to cover himself up. Jason didn’t flinch; he simply pushed Sean’s legs apart and settled between them, his hands gently rubbing up the outside of Sean’s thighs. First he nuzzled again, left side, then right side of Sean’s groin in that sensitive area that tickled but felt oh, so good. A shiver went through Sean’s body, then Jason gave his dick one long, hard lick from base to tip. Sean nearly came off the bed as he reacted to Jason’s touch, but Jason’s hands on his hips pressed him firmly back onto the mattress.Oh God.
Jason moved lower down the bed, giving himself more room to manoeuvre between Sean’s legs. He stroked the smooth skin of Sean’s inner thighs, tickling lightly, before following the trail left by his fingers with his tongue. Sean was shaking like a leaf. Jason started on the left, moving from knee to groin before sucking one of Sean’s balls into the warmth of his mouth. He released it with a soft slurping sound before giving the other one similar treatment. It had been so long since anyone had touched him, let alone lavished such attention to his balls, that Sean thought he was going to come without his dick being touched.
The torture continued as Jason released him again and kissed Sean’s right leg, this time from groin to knee. Sean tensed. He was a bundle of nerves putting himself out there, but then took a deep breath. It’s okay. Jason’s lips were gentle as they passed across his skin, the sensation sending a shiver through him. Sean’s erection that had flagged momentarily came back to life with a vengeance as Sean relaxed into the touch. It felt amazing—so good. He groaned.Oh yeah, so good.
Jason rose, his hand gripping Sean’s erection as he moved up again, far enough to allow him to lean over and join their lips together. Jason settled on the bed next to him but didn’t release his hold. His strokes were firm, regular as he kissed the life out of him. And as Sean drowned in the kisses and the sensations, all he could think of was how Jason had touched him—how he hadn’t made a show of singling out the scarred leg; the mangled skin and missing muscle hadn’t been star of the show. Jason had treated him as if he were an unblemished man.
As he spilled over Jason’s fist, Sean knew he had finally made a good decision. Averygood decision, and that decision—taking that chance—had brought him Jason.

As expected,Sean hated every minute of the office celebration, from the tacky decorations to the themed food—whoever thought pink cupcakes would be a good idea when they were drinking beer? He ignored the tray of pink-iced creations with little silver balls and hearts that was being thrust his way and grabbed a second beer. He took his drink and pushed through the crowd. He had to duck to avoid the fluttering hearts hanging from the ceiling but eventually made it to the side of the room, where he could survey the crowd in relative peace.
All his team were there, as were the newer staff members who’d joined the company through the acquisition. Joanna was the life of the party, angel wings in full force, introducing new and old employees and ensuring everyone was mingling.
Cupids and little devils were everywhere. Sean had gotten away with just a suit and tie. Admittedly the tie was covered in red hearts, and Joanna had forced a red kerchief into his breast pocket, but he looked relatively normal, unlike some of his zany and more out-there colleagues.
As per office function protocol, they’d had the usual speech from the Finance Director, but thankfully Stephen Chan kept it short and sweet. The CEO had welcomed the new employees, and then Alison Smith-Higgins had presented the annual awards to the winning staff members. Sean’s team had won a group award for most creative new campaign, and he’d been really pleased to see Roger, Jason’s work buddy, singled out for his contribution throughout the year.
Once the formal part of the evening was over, the volume of the music was cranked up and the overhead lights were dimmed. Illuminated by coloured strobes and flashing lights, people who had no business dancing in public were shaking things up on the dance floor. The sound of voices was getting louder as people yelled to be heard over the music, leaving Sean with a gentle throbbing in his temples signifying the beginnings of a headache. Drinks flowed in abundance. God, he hated Valentine’s.
Sean nearly spilled his beer when a voice sounded in his ear. “You ready to get out of here?” The hot breath caused shivers down his spine. “Come on, baby. Let’s go. I’ve got something to show you. A surprise.”
The words were too close to those Gareth had used that fateful night. Sean stiffened, but as he turned his head to look at Jason, who was standing just behind him, he realised he had no reason to be worried. This wasJason. This was the man who accepted him, listened to him, and understood him. The one who cared enough to ask what Sean wanted and needed, and most importantly, gave it to him.
He couldn’t keep the smile from his face as he grasped Jason’s hand and gave it a quick squeeze before letting go and tilting his head towards the door.
Jason went ahead. God, he looked gorgeous in his dark suit, his broad shoulders accentuated by the black jacket. He was a spectacular contrast of formal clothing with tousled hair falling over his collar, the black fabric of the suit highlighting his fair complexion and making his blue eyes sparkle. Sean couldn’t wait for them to get home so he could get his hands on his man and do wicked things to him.
But when they got into the car, Jason didn’t drive them in the direction of either of their homes. Sean glanced at him, wary but excited. He tried to find out where they were headed, but Jason just laughed.
“You just hold on. I’m not going to spoil the surprise. You’ll find out soon enough, and I guarantee you’ll like it.”
Sean grinned. He had no doubt about that.

Twenty minutes later, they pulled up in front of a large, rather grand house. The white two-storey home was of classic proportions with large square windows and an imposing double front door, the portico supported by tall columns. Whoever lived here obviously wasn’t short of a dollar. But when they got out of the car, they didn’t head to the front door. Instead, Jason grabbed Sean’s hand and pulled him towards the side of the house, where a large gate sat in a high fence.
Jason pushed open the gate to reveal as massive backyard. He couldn’t make out most of it in the darkness but could make out a number of footpaths through the wide expanse of lawn, garden beds filled with what looked like roses, and huge hedges on the boundary.
“Whose house is this? Why are we here?”
“It’s Roger’s parents’ place,” Jason said.
