After taking a much-needed shower, I pull Banks onto my lap and open my planner to one of the list pages in the back. A happy sigh escapes my mouth as my fingers smooth over the blank page. Is there anything more satisfying than creating and then crossing things off a list?
My heart beats frantically against my ribs as I write the title with my favorite glitter gel pen:Do It Scared.

Forum Thread: Hands-free cat carrying suggestions please!
@catchercatdad
Can anyone recommend a carrier that would work for my calico rescue? I was thinking maybe a baby carrier?
@meowmeow369
Please don’t use a baby carrier unless you also enjoy claw marks that spell HELP across your chest.
@purrfectlyfine
My cat once escaped a mesh backpack carrier and rode home on my shoulder like a pirate’s parrot. Ten out of ten for drama, zero for practicality. Are you using the carrier forhiking?
@whiskerwizard
I tried the baby carrier thing once. She purred for two minutes then peed on me. Would not recommend.
@mittensandme
You can try a front-facing cat backpack—my rescue actually loves watching the world that way.
@sweetkittymama
Are you interested in carrying your calico for long walks on the beach? And do you want company?
@catchercatdad
My roommate is going through a bit of a rough patch and prefers to carry my cat around. I thought maybe if she used a baby carrier or sling, it could free up her hands and make things easier for her.
@furrealthough
Aww, that’s sweet. I’d go for a front-facing soft sling. It’s less baby and more bohemian emotional support pouch.
@purrfectlyfine
Ohhh, it’s emotional support in reverse. She supported the cat, now the cat supports her—the circle of life.
@clawenforcer
This might be the most wholesome thread this forum has ever seen.
@tunafordays
I came here to mock. I’m leaving Googling “cat sling with emotional healing properties.”
@whiskerwizard
Okay, but if she starts bringing the cat to the grocery store, we’re gonna need updates.
