David nodded.
"And you're bonkers over her too. You two kiss all the time, it's gross."
"Not to me."
Giving the boy a one handed hug, he tugged him to his feet.
"Let's take a dip and show me what you learned at the swimming class."
*****
"Apparently, you're bonkers about me."
"Excuse me?"
Melanie lifted her head from her son's face to see her husband grinning at her.
"Our son's words, not mine."
Crossing the room, he came to take the baby from her and cradled him against his chest.
"Obviously. What was the context of the conversation?"
Rodney told her, laughing when she raised her brows at him.
"Darling, camping? With how many boys?"
He looked sheepish.
"I let him sucker me into not just Corey, but five more."
"Six!"
She hissed, careful to keep from disturbing the baby who was now nodding off.
"Seven including David. Who's going to supervise them?"
"Me."
He gave a resigned sigh.
"I'm the CEO of a multi-billion dollar company. I have people who jump at my voice and get things done and yet I cannot seem to say no to a nine year old."
His eyes met hers.
"Or my beautiful wife for that matter."
"Oh no, don't drag me into this."
She evaded his touch by dancing away from him.
With a grin, he went to put the baby down, tucking the blanket around him securely and just stood there staring.
"He's beautiful."
He murmured huskily.
Crossing the room, Melanie came to stand next to him and wrapped an arm around his trim waist.
