Scott’s heart raced so fast he thought he might have a heart attack at any moment, but he still waited until Joe took his hand away before answering. “You s-s-said you’d spank m-me.”
“I meant it.” Joe caught Scott’s gaze and held it.
“If it w-would m-m-make you feel better, you can,” Scott offered.
For several seconds, Joe continued to glare at him, looking pissed off and gorgeous in equal measure. Then he broke into a grin and gorgeousness won out completely.
Scott smiled back, thrilled that he’d somehow stumbled upon a good suggestion. He glanced around the room again. There wasn’t a kitchen chair, like the one Joe had sat on last time he’d spanked him, but there was a bed.
Scott pointed to it. “W-w-would there be ok-k-kay?”
“Will I only be marking my territory just to make myself feel better, or do you like the idea too?” Joe whispered in his ear as he stepped up behind him. His erection rubbed against Scott through their towels.
Scott wasn’t sure what the right answer was. Joe taking hold of both their towels and tossing them away didn’t help him come up with any ideas.
“W-w-whichever you prefer?” he hazarded.
Joe made Scott turn to face him.
He studied Scott through narrowed eyes. “You have no idea why I just jumped you, do you?”
“I know you’re a-a-angry with m-m-me,” Scott ventured.
“You haven’t done anything wrong. I’ve got no reason to be angry with you.”
Scott nibbled on his bottom lip. Joe sounded really serious about that. The grin was gone.
“You did as you were told, didn’t you?”
Scott nodded.
“So, I’ve no reason to be angry with you. And even if I was angry, I’ve no right to take it out on you, do I?”
Joe still sounded serious, but ran his hands over Scott’s body as he spoke; and that made it so damn difficult for Scott to think clearly.
“Possessive,” Joe whispered in his ear.
Scott took a deep breath and tried to make sense of the word.
“You know they all wanted you, don’t you?”
Scott looked down at Joe’s wandering hands. His touch felt so different than all the other men who’d tried to cop a feel in the labyrinth.
“Y-yes, but I didn’t w-w-want them,” Scott whispered.
Joe spun him around so they once more stood face to face.
It had obviously been the right thing to say. Scott saw the success in Joe’s eyes; felt it in the raw, sexual energy pouring off Joe.
“I w-want you,” Scott blurted out.
“Be careful what you wish for, pet.”
Scott frowned.
Joe caught hold of Scott’s shoulders and twirled him around again. Before Scott had time to catch his balance, Joe had one of his wrists twisted up behind his back.
“Are you sure you wouldn’t prefer one of those nice, polite businessmen from the labyrinth, someone who’d be all gentle and considerate with you?”
