But then again, I’d never treat a woman likehedid. Ever.

Too smart, Kiera had her response ready to go. “Gabe works an office job. There’s no way he would be out during the day, and aside from him, there’s no one else looking for me.”

I groaned, squeezing my temple. She made a good point, but…

“You know you’re not technically supposed to leave the grounds.”

“I don’t think we should let a technicality stop us. You know what they say, ‘Better to ask forgiveness than permission.’”

She stood up grinning, grabbing one last chip as she floated toward the door. “I won’t overstay my welcome on your bro hang. See you in the morning, Spence!”

And before I could open my mouth to argue, she was out the door. I turned to Leo, mouth agape as Kiera’s footsteps bounded up the steps and out of earshot. “What the fuck?”

“I think she just made you her bitch.” Leo laughed, leaning back in her spot.

“Shut the fuck up.” I tossed a pillow across the couch, smacking her square in the side of the head.

She tossed the pillow back half-heartedly, completely unfazed. “You sure you want to piss Dom off? You can always leave without Kiera…”

I bit my lip, sinking back into the couch. What I’d said about Dom’s rules was true. Usually, I was the first person willing to bend her rules, but only when I was sure the pay-off would be worth it.

Was the extra time with our little captive worth it? Logic told me no, but damn, was that smile of hers convincing.

I sighed, scrubbing a palm over my face. “Fuck it. Dom can’t expect us to hold this girl hostage in the castle all day, fun as that might be.”

Leo laughed. “Not nearly as much fun when we’re not home to enjoy the perks of her captivity.”

“Exactly. Besides, Dom gets to swing her dick around and do what she wants all the time. Maybe I want a little secret of my own, huh? No harm in a little field trip.”

It was half a joke, but Leo was smart enough to read the truth within it. “I hear you, but…”

“No buts. I think you and I are both due our own share of fun. After all, what does she expect — leaving us alone with such a pretty little plaything?”

Leo raised her hands. “Not sure what ‘us’ you’re talking about. I’m not gonna rat on you to Dom, but whatever you have planned, keep me out of it, alright?”

“Suit yourself.” I plopped back onto the couch, plotting for the morning. “More fun for me.”

Excitement buzzed in my chest as I settled on the idea of having Kiera to myself, of finally getting the straight girl alone, unable to run from her desires.

No matter how I cut it, Dom was going to be pissed. But thinking about Kiera's flustered face and pretty fingers as she stroked my cock, I had a feeling I could make that risk well worth the reward.

DOM

Rubbing my temples,I turned another page.

The office was completely empty. Except for me.

Beyond the layer of glass that separated my office from the rest of the drones that worked at Zeus, the automatic lights had shut off. Only the light of my desk lamp spilled out to the common area.

I wanted to go home, to get out of this cursed hellhole, but the numbers weren’t lining up. I’d been poring over these expense reports for hours, and none of it made sense.

My eyes flicked from the blue light of my monitor to the paper report that had been left on my desk.

New expenditures had been added at a remote meeting — one I conveniently wasn’t sent the link to. I made a note to push my assistant on it, to remind her to be aggressive with the other assistants. If she got pushed out, so did I.

Gabriel and Isaac were hiding something. And whatever it was, they didn’t want me to be able to prepare. Or they were hoping to slip it past me.
