Of course she knew I was still here. She just couldn’t stop herself from digging the knife in deeper. Two could play that game.

“Nice of you to join us,” I muttered before patting my lap. “Care to take a seat?”

Her jaw dropped, shock taking over for just a second before that familiar scowl took its place. “I don’t know who you think you’re talking to, but let’s make one thingveryclear. I wouldn’t touch you with a thirty-foot fucking pole, street rat.”

This time it was my face that burned as she shoved off the doorframe, shaking the wall as she left.

Leo let out a low whistle and shook her head. Spencer patted my shoulder, struggling to fight back a laugh. “Didn’t help your chances much there.”

“Whatever.” I reached for the remote, clicking on the next episode of the show. “She can pull the stick out of her ass and learn how to take what she dishes out. I’m over her.”

But as the opening theme played, I knew that what Spencer said was true.

My life would be hell here as long as I was on Dom’s bad side, which left me with two options: get on her good side, or get the fuck out of this mansion.

My posture didn’t relaxuntil a door slammed upstairs, marking Dom’s departure.

“We’ll talk to her about your restrictions, okay?” Spencer smiled at me, leaning back into the couch cushions. Her arm stretched out across the back of the sofa, inviting me in.

Better than nothing.I sighed as I leaned back, not into Spencer’s arms but still closer to her. As much as I tried to deny it, I wanted to get closer, to feel her touch.

Maybe I was just touch starved from being in this house for a week. But it wasn’t like Gabe enjoyed a cuddle or anything.

I shook off the thought as I watched the next episode, trying to tune out the part of my mind that was begging to lean into Spencer’s chest, to place a hand on her collarbone and nuzzle in. It was tempting. I could feel her body heat even without touching her.

As Spencer played with my hair, twirling the red strands between her fingers, Leo looked over at us across the couch. “Well don’t start anything without me.”

“Not a chance of anything starting.” Shaking my head, I didn’t dignify Leo’s advance with a glance.

Even after just a week of knowing them, I knew that the two of them loved to goad each other into a sticky situation. Giving Leo any attention would just amp Spencer up and vice versa.

It could be fun to play with them, but this felt different. They flirted like this all the time, and I’d never considered taking them up on any of their offers. But the inexplicable pull to lean into my angel’s arms had me on edge.

It was certainly a bad idea, especially given that these two were the sole reason I was in this house to begin with.

Spencer lowered her voice to a murmur. “Don’t worry, Bunny, I’ll take you all for myself.”

My eyes flicked up to hers, her rumble of a voice sending a shiver down my spine.

“Not that either of us mind sharing you.” Throwing in a wink, Spencer settled back into the couch.

I rolled my eyes and tried to shake off my filthy thoughts — the flashes of what they’d do to me given free reign. “I’m straight.”

“Mm-hm. That’s what you all say.” With a shrug, Spencer nodded down at her gray sweatpants. “More afraid of a little silicone than some dickwad’s two-incher.”

My jaw dropped at her boldness. “Afraid?”

Pursing her lips, Spencer’s eyes darted across my face. “Yep.”

“I’m not afraid, asshole. I just know what I like.”

“Sure. Like you’ve ever even felt a lesbian’s dick.”

Spencer turned back to the TV, but when she wasn’t looking, I couldn’t stop my eyes from glancing down at her sweats. She’s joking about wearing a dildo…right?
