But what about these two wasn’t?
I let out a sigh, thankful for Spencer’s easy escape from being cornered by Leo. After breaking the seal with Spencer, it was hard to hide the flush that Leo brought to my cheeks.
It wasn’t a question whether I’d like to be touched by a woman… Clearly I loved it last night.
Shaking my head, I smoothed the front of my wool sweater. I still wasn’t ready to play with Leo’s heart. Not until I was certain. And flirty banter wasn't certainty.
But the attraction — if that’s what it was — was going to be harder to hide.
Especially when Leo looked likethat.
Trying to center myself, I walked out of the huge bedroom and padded down the stairs in my long socks.
Downstairs, Leo waited by the front door. Her hands were shoved into the pockets of her baggy, black jeans. “We match.” Smirking, she bent down as I got closer.
Raising an eyebrow, I watched her closely as she grabbed my pair of black Doc Martens from her side and held them out for my feet.
She tapped her shoulder, wanting me to use her broad, muscular body to steady myself while I put my shoes on.
Who was I to deny her?
Rolling my eyes, I put my hand on her muscular traps. “Thanks.” I swallowed hard, hoping the excitement between my legs wasn’t showing in my face.
“Anything for you, Princess.” Leo looked up at me, throwing a cheeky wink along with that stern smile. “Not a bad view from one knee.”
“You barely know me.” I pulled my hand away, trying to break whatever spell was forming between us.
But as Leo stood, towering over me and letting her earthy musk seep deep into my senses, her face grew serious. “I know everything I need to know.”
A loud clap came from behind us as Spencer waltzed into the foyer. Wearing a pair of tailored cargo pants and her signature leather jacket, Spencer grabbed the handle of the oak doors. “Let’s roll.”
The wind chilled my bones as soon as the door popped open.
To my surprise, instead of the usual blue Suzuki and red Ducati, a deep green sports car sat out front. Instead of a recognizable logo on the trunk, there was a red and green shield like emblem.
“No bikes?” I turned to look at Leo and Spencer.
Leo pulled keys from the pockets of her jeans and unlocked the car, moving to the rear passenger door and holding it open for me. “Not today, wanted you to be warm.”
Following behind me, Spencer laughed. “And my bike is in the shop, so Leo pulled out her Italian beauty for us.”
As I ducked into the car, thanking Leo as I took my seat, it was clear to me that Violence had money to spare. I’d seen my two captors handling plenty of money over the last couple months but I hadn’t realized it was importing-foreign-cars money.
Maybe crime does pay.
My eyes widened as I looked around the gorgeous car, the interior was black leather with red embroidering on the fabric. Looking to the front as Leo slipped into the driver’s seat, I read the name over the emblem on the steering wheel: Alfa Romeo.
The name was familiar, surely something I’d heard my dad talk about when I was little.
Pressing the ignition, the sports car roared to life, a low hum rumbling under me as I leaned back into the seat.
Spencer turned around in the front seat to look at me. “All set, Bunny?”
Nodding, I buckled my seat belt and tried to enjoy the ride. Within seconds, it was obvious to me why Leo had put me in this spot. She wanted me to ogle her while she drove. And I wasn’t about to resist the temptation.
Her hands were a collection of veins and tendons, all draping elegantly across her skin as her hand glided around the wheel. She’d thrown her jacket in the back seat, leaving her tattooed arms on full display for me.
I felt a twinge between my legs, a sensation Spencer had satisfied the night before already roaring back for me.
