And they say romance doesn’t belong in thriller novels! I beg to differ. I love nothing more than a love story mixed with a hefty dose of trauma and murder!

Capri:

Thank you, thank you! I agree, Lex! There’s nothing I love morethan an HEA at the end of an emotionally devastating thriller! I’m beyond ready to marry the love of my life. Hi, Lee! I can’t wait to kiss the crap out of you at the end of that aisle today.

Lexi:

IT’S WEDDING DAY!!!!! IT’S WEDDING DAY!!!!!

Teagan:

Scream it louder for the listeners in the back, Lex! Capri, you and Lee are the cutest, and may we all find the happiness and love you share for ourselves one day! But let’s return to our short and sweet episode before I have to reapply my makeup for a third time. I’m a weepy mess, guys! Today, we are talking about our favorite author, A. M. Pierce!

Lexi:

I beg you guys, please bury me with my fully charged Kindle, and all of Pierce’s books downloaded onto it when I die so I can reread them throughout my afterlife.

Capri:

You can add that request to my death wishlist as well, since you all know I have a TBR longer than my life expectancy.

Teagan:

Okay, well, that got dark!

Capri:

You know we live in the dark and twisty. *kisses*

Lexi:

Okay, okay. Enough of the doom and gloom, you weirdos. Now, ladies, real question. Do we think Pierce is a man or a woman? We truly have nothing on them. No socials, no Goodreads bio. Those little flaps on the dust jackets that are supposed to have little tidbits about the author? Nada. Zip. ZILTCH.

Teagan:

Oh, Pierce totally has to be a man. Women don’t write the type of dark and twisted stuff Pierce writes. Have you read the one about the guy who murders his entire family with a pickaxe? It’s straight up insanity. No woman could write that.

Capri:

I’m offended! I would write something like that if I had the patience to hallucinate for hours while bringing a story to life!

Lexi:

I’m with Capri. Women are way more unhinged. Wait, are you talking about the book where the guy goes on and makes a whole new family for a decade, just to murder them all again?

Teagan:

Yes! It’s so sick. I had to keep putting it down because I was traumatized by some of the scenes with the kids. I can’t handle kids being harmed.

Capri:

And that’s why I love books. Murder of any kind is forgivable if it’s fictional.

Lexi:

I 100% agree with you, Capri! I loved that book so much that I’ve reread it about five times. Something about serial killers just gets me going, if you know what I mean. I also vote that Pierce can 100% be a woman because we ladies have darker thoughts than men do.

Teagan:
