“I love you too, Remington. With every ounce of my being.”
Chapter 4
Nitro
“Babe, are you even listening?” I stand, hands on hips glaring at my man. “What the hell are we gonna do?”
“First, we’re going to chill out. Jazz is our woman, we know her better than she knows herself. We know exactly what we need to pamper her for Valentine's Day.”
I glare at the handsome bastard. “We know what to do for her inprivate. What are we going to do in public? You know, the place where all our brothers will be doing sweet shit for their ol ladies? This is our first of many Valentine’s with Jazz, I just want it to be special.”
Fox stares at me from his place on our bed, stretched out, a peek of his tanned abs on show, phone in hand from where he was scrolling.
He lets out a sigh then holds his arms open. “Come here. I was just looking at gifts.”
I roll my eyes and move onto the bed, head resting on his bicep as he shows me his phone screen. “Is that?”
“Yup! It is a life-sized snuggle doll. Thought we could get two, one that looks like you, one that looks like me then when she’s at home she can still have us there.”
I glare at his dopey grin. “I love you, Fox, but that is the stupidest fucking thing I’ve ever seen. One day soon she’ll move in with us and then what? We just have creepy fucking doll versions of us lying around? You know the brothers, namely fucking Rider and Pops will kidnap them and do weird shit. The kids will probably blow them up or something.”
He stares at me for a long while before his gaze shoots to his screen, “Fuck, you’re right. We’re screwed. That was my best idea.”
I groan and roll to stare up at the mirrored ceiling. At my dark, solid form next to Fox’s long, lean body. I fucking wish our girl was here, in the middle where she belongs. I could lie here, stroking my cock, to the look on her face in the throes of orgasm as Fox pounds into her.
“You know what we have to do, right?”
I roll my head, so I can look into Fox’s baby blue eyes. “What?”
“We need Rider.”
I let out a long groan, but he’s right. Somehow when God or whoever was making Rider, they instilled in him the ability to be able to be creative and skilled at surprises. Unfortunately whoever made him also made it that for access to that knowledge you had to jump through whatever fucked up hoops Rider make you jump through.
“Come on, it’s like a Band-aid: the quicker we get it done, the quicker we can get home and get naked.” He slaps a kiss on mylips, crunching up and swinging his legs over the side of the bed to put his boots on.
I follow suit and in no time we’re out our front door, headed to the clubhouse to find him.
“Where are you two hot footin’ it to?” Pops asks from his rocking chair on the deck.
“Never you mind.” Fox grins. “Actually, no, you’ll know where Rider is.”
“Yeah, he’s off to whatever mysterious place he goes to around this time of the afternoon.” Pops kicks off from the railing his booted feet were resting on, creaking back and forth with a bushy brow raised.
“And, are you gonna tell us where that is?” I ask.
“Can’t tell ya what we don’t know.” Mad Dog comes stomping onto the deck, handing a cool beer to Pops before he sits in his own chair taking a long pull of his own beer.
“So, you both know he’s going somewhere and neither of you, especially not you, Pops, has ever wondered where he’s going?” I challenge. I see the look in Pops’ eye. He wants to know as much as the rest of us.
“Nope. That's his business.” Pops and Mad Dog share a look, and Mad Dog rolls his shoulders.
“Yeah. Probably no point grabbing the keys to the SUV and following him,” Fox says, nonchalantly, scuffing his boot on the deck.
We’re silent and still for 2.5 seconds before we scuffle with each other, all bolting for where the SUV keys are kept.
“Aue! What are you boys -” Mama Debs stares at Pops and Mad Dog, “- and old men doing?”
“Nothing!” We all yell at once as Fox holds the keys above his head and we race outside.
