The room was quiet for a few minutes while my mind raced. It was so hard for me to wrap my head around all of this. I knew that Morgan was into kinky things that I considered to be out of the norm, and that was fine. But to find out Morgan bumped into the kid I was never allowed to see, at a kink club was more than my head could handle tonight.

“So, I hate springing this on you now, but can Patrick and I crash here tonight?” Hollis asked. I huffed out a laugh. I noticed Patrick had set down a bag when they came in.

“You guys are always welcome here,” I said.

“I’m going to head back to Mom and Dad’s,” Morgan announced as he stood.

I stood and walked over to the door with him.

“So, you’re going to talk to the Dominator tomorrow, right?”

“I’m going to talk to the club owner, Andrew. I’ll see if he can put us in contact with James or arrange for us to meet.”

“Okay, thank you.”

“Anything for you, Chase,” Morgan said as he hugged me again. “Since you have company now, you might take them to that cool pinball arcade tomorrow,” he suggested.

I stayed up for a while longer and played cards with Hollis and Patrick. Right before I went to bed, I told them I wanted to take them out to dinner tomorrow with Morgan. I got Hollis and Patrick settled and then went to my room. I was wide awake when I got into bed.

What if the Dominator man wouldn’t let me meet Brandon?

What if he decided it was too disruptive for Brandon’s life?

Do Dominators decide those things?

I had to come up with a backup plan in case the guy wouldn’t let me see Brandon. Since I was wide awake, I decided to do a little investigative work. I grabbed my phone and thought for a minute.

Morgan said the club owner’s name was Andrew and that he owned some coffee shops. In the search bar I typed in “Coffee shops Andrew of Club Oxygen owns” and hit the enter button.

Seriously? Was it that easy?

Three Brothers Coffee chain. I went to the website for Three Brothers and read the “About us” section.

“Impressive,” I murmured after I read the company’s history. It was a family business owned by Andrew and his father. I clicked on the locations and was disappointed when I saw there were quite a few in the Los Angeles area.

“Fuck.”

Well, I was just going to have to go to each one until I was able to spot him.

ANDREW

I had just setup the coffee and pastries for today’s members when I heard someone walk into the main room. Morgan was early.

“Hey, good morning. You’re early today.” I glanced down at the table of refreshments as he walked over.

“Morning,” he said and quietly set his notebook on one of the empty tables before he stood on the other side of the refreshment table. I looked at his face and could tell something was wrong, or on his mind. He had bags under his eyes and looked tired.

“Long night?” I asked.

“Somewhat, yes.”

“Is everything okay, Morgan?”

Morgan looked away for a moment, but when our eyes connected again, he opened his mouth to speak.

“I laid awake last night for hours trying to decide how I could talk to you.”
