“Yes, it seems rather odd, do you not agree?” I askedhim.

“I suppose people decided to go deep into the forest and use the fog for privacy,” he shrugged and then looked at me. “Would you like to accompany me into the woods, PrincessOctavia?”

A smile forced its way onto my face, and I nodded. As I giggled and jogged with Macauley into the woods, I could hear Klyn’s voice telling me not to be in a hurry to rush into the woods. Macauley’s jog started to slow because the fog became so thick that I could barely see him in front ofme.

“Wait, Macauley! I cannot keep up with these shoes,” I laughed and leaned against him when hestopped.

Macauley put his hands on my waist and looked me in the eyes. He had beautiful green eyes that I could barely see right now because of the heavy fog. I felt out of breath and had difficulty breathing the air. I could feel the tightness in my chest as his hands slowly moved to mybreasts.

“Princess Octavia, I have dreamed for a long time of tasting you,” he whispered. “MayI?”

“Yes, Macauley. I have fantasized of you doing that very thing. I want you to tasteallof me,” I panted against hislips.

I leaned against a tree trunk, lost in the sensations Macauley was giving me. His breath on my skin felt stifling hot and the ability to breathe became more and more difficult with each passing moment. My breasts had been freed from the silk material of my dress and the dampness of Macauley’s tongue on my nipple feltamazing.

Macauley quickly pulled off his shirt and spread it out on the ground. He guided me to lay down and placed my head on his shirt. I helped him pull my dress up as I marveled at his beautiful body. It was no surprise that Macauley had chest muscles and abs of stone that were a direct result of his work at thecastle.

I arched my back off the ground as his tongue circled my swollen clit. His finger began to probe and in case he had not actually heard that I liked two fingers, I informedhim.

“Two fingers, Macauley,” Iinstructed.

Two fingers were inserted as his tongue glided up and down my sensitive and swollen lips. This had been much better than my fantasy of him from earlier. The motions of his fingers and tongue caused me to writhe on the edge of coming. My body felt like I had been spinning out of control. Haphazardly, my hands and arms flailed around and I tried to grasp for something solid on theground.

Suddenly, my hand hit something unexpected. I turned my head to see what my hand had touched, but the fog was so thick that I could not even see the ground. Almost at the same time, I heard myname.

“Princess Octavia,” the unfamiliar voice whispered close to myhead.

I pushed myself up on my elbows and looked down at Macauley. We both stared at one another with wide eyes as we heard the voice again, but this time the voice sounded as though it was coming from behindMacauley.

My heart pounded as Macauley sat up and pulled meclose.

“What the hell is it?” Iwhispered.

“I do not know. I think we should goback.”

A gust of wind blew through the trees, rustling leaves by our feet. I gripped Macauley’s hand tight as the wind grew stronger. Silently, I vowed that I would never go against Klyn’s warnings everagain.

“Macauley,” the voice whispered as soon as the wind stopped. “Did she tastegood?”

“Listen, whoever you are, the joke is over. King Darick will hear of this if you do not leave us alone!” Macauley yelled as he turned in the direction that the voice seemed to be comingfrom.

“Did the Princess taste good?” the voice asked. “I want ataste.”

I pressed my head against Macauley’s back and jerked away from him when I felt something sharp poke me in the chest. Confused, I looked down and though the fog had thickened, I could see the tip of a blade sticking out of Macauley’s back. I took a step back and called his name as I watched him turn to face me and fall to theground.

“Macauley,” I whispered as I quivered. When he did not answer, I screamed and dropped to my knees next to him. “Macauley!” I grabbed his arm and shookhim.

“R-run,” he struggled tosay.

The fog was parting just ahead of us. Something was coming. I took off running towards the mezzanine and made it no more than a few steps before I tripped and fell. I turned to look at the parting fog and held my hand out in front of me inwarning.

One man walked towards us and as the fog began to clear I could see bodies of townspeople strewn all around us. I could not move and could not scream, fear had paralyzed me. Multiple men now stood where the fog had been. The man crouched down in front of Macauley and swiftly pulled the blade out of his chest. As blood spilled, a gust of wind came and as it settled, two more men appeared at the foot of Macauley. The man with the blade in his hand held his hand up, as if it was preventing the men fromattacking.

“You may, but slowly,” hesaid.

The two men each took up a side by Macauley and lunged at him. Each went for Macauley’s wrists, and a stomach turning cry of pain had been the last that I heard fromMacauley.
