“Come on. Let’s get your play collar on so we can getgoing.”

I gestured for him to follow me down the hall to my room. He did up his pants and belt as wewalked.

“I get to wear it? Out? I mean, inpublic?”

His excited, eager tone filled me with happiness; he had wanted to wear itout.

“Yes, Ryan. Would you like that fortonight?”

“Yes,” heconfirmed.

“Good, because I would like for you to wear it as well. Get your collar off the nightstand and kneel by thecouch.”

I quickly went into the bathroom and washed my hands before I joined him at the couch. As I approached him from behind, I couldn’t help but take a moment to burn the sight of him kneeling at my couch with his collar firmly in his clutches, into my memory. After I took the collar from his hands, he handed me his tag. I put the tag in place and buckled the ends behind hisneck.

“Now, you’re all ready to go.” I kissed him once he stood up. “You look wonderful,Ryan.”

“Thankyou.”

Ryan was quiet in the passenger seat as we drove to the party. I could tell he was nervous, but I knew he’d be just fine. I wasn’t worried at all about him fitting in among traditionally trained submissives. Ryan had a genuine charm about him, and he wasmine.

I kept a close eye on him from the moment we left my house. He had been touching his play collar a lot. Was it too tight, or did he like the feeling of it? I nudged his thigh while we were at a stoplight to get hisattention.

“Is that bothering you, Ryan?” I reached over and slipped two of my fingers between his neck andcollar.

“No, it’s not too tight. It feelsgood.”

“Good, I’m glad tohear.”

I noticed that his knee bounced, giving away his nervousness.Calm him.I rubbed on his thigh and moved my hand upward and pulled his shirt hem over the lap portion of the seatbelt. I placed my hand on his abdomen and stroked it. By the time we got to the next stoplight, he had relaxed against myhand.

“Is Leonard going to be at the party?” heasked.

“I am pretty sure that he will be,” I answered him honestly even though I knew where that would send his mind. He’d begin to worry that he wasn’t good enough for the party. Leonard thrived at high protocol events and parties. He was very robotic andquick.

“How do I addresspeople?”

“You remember how you address people at my parties? This isn’t new to you, Ryan. I’ll introduce them to you and whatever title and name I use, that will be acceptable for you to use.Understand?”

“Yes.”

We pulled up in front of the house, and I shut the caroff.

“If you want to leave at any time, all you have to do is tell me.Understand?”

“Yes.”

I opened my car door and another question tumbled out of his mouth. One that I had a feeling he had heldonto.

“Russell, you won’t let anyone else play with me, willyou?”

I leaned over and took hold of his collar while I looked in hiseyes.

“What’s around your neck means something important not just to us, but to everyone inside thathouse.”

“Good thing I have it on, huh?” hejoked.

I tugged on his collar until he looked at meagain.
