I nodded and focused on his chest. He stood less than a foot away from me.Talk! Say something tohim!

“Why—” The word got caught in my throat, so I swallowed hard and took a deep breath before I started again. “Why didn’t you tell me that you cared…like that?” Iasked.

I forced my eyes off his chest and peeked at his eyes. They were eyes that cared. He cared about me. I had to look back down and focus on his chest. When I reached for my neck and stomach, he took another step closer and replaced my hands with his. Russell’s hands felt so good; strong, secure. I looked him in theeyes.

“I had to wait until you were ready, Ryan,” Russell said in such a kind, caring tone as his eyes scannedmine.

“Am I ready now?” Iasked.

“Youare.”

Both of his hands moved upward. The hand that had been on the back of my neck took hold of my hair, and the hand from my stomach firmly took hold of my jaw. Before any of that registered, his mouth was onmine.

My mouth opened for him to take what he wanted, though, I hadn’t felt he took anything. His firm tongue roamed my mouth as I felt I had been swaying. While I had been alert for this, the thought crossed my mind that I was on the verge of blackingout.

I had beenkissed.

He had kissedme.

Russell Moore, the Top of all Tops, the Dom’s Top, had kissedme.

I opened my eyes when I heard a rumble of light laughter as we pulled apart. When Russell moved away from my face, I sort of kept leaning forward. Why wasn’t it weird looking at him now? It should be weird, right?

“Relax,Ryan.”

Instead of looking at his chest to avoid him, I felt okay with looking in his eyes. When I did, I saw something there that I had never seen before. Maybe it had always been there, or at least, for a while. When he pulled his hand away from my stomach, I felt the loss of his warmth. His hands had never felt just like any hand I’d shaken in my life, or felt. Russell’s hands were always warm. Hecared.

His hands went to my biceps, and he moved them up and down my arms in a quick manner. I was cold, I think. Not much made sense to me right now, so I couldn’t trust myself with anything right now. But there was one thing that I had been sure of; I trusted Russell more thananyone.

“Let’s get you into somethingwarm.”

I nodded and began to walk towards the bedroom door. All of my clothes were back in his playroom on the leather couch. Russell stopped me and grasped my shoulders in hishands.

“Stand still for a moment,please.”

“Okay, s-sorry.”

I looked down when I realized that my body shivered to the point of quivering. I had been embarrassed and didn’t understand why my body was doingthis.

“Ryan, relax. Stay there and don’t move,” Russell said and then went to his dresser. He pulled out a gray t-shirt and held it out toward me. “Put this on fornow.”

I didn’t argue with him and quickly pushed my arms through it and then over my head. I could already feel the chill subside. He reached forward and rubbed his hand over my chest from left to right in quick succession, and then gave my stomach a few gentlepats.

“You doing okay,Ryan?”

I nodded. I thought that I was. I was, wasn’tI?

“Good, sit down for a fewminutes.”

I glanced around the spacious room. As far as seating went, there was a large king-sized bed that appeared to have perfect bedding, and a small, black leather couch sat in a sittingarea.

I followed Russell to the couch, and when he sat down, I remained standing awkwardly. I wasn’t going to sit on his leather couch with my bare ass.Let alone, the leather couch in his private bedroom. The couch that no one sees because no one is allowed inhere.

Fuck! What am I doing inhere?

“Sit down,Ryan.”

“Um,” I looked down for a moment and then quickly raised my head so he wouldn’t see me looking down. “I probably shouldn’t.I—”
