“Not at all, Ryan.” I kissed his forehead and then opened his front door. “3:00,” I reminded him and then headed to mySUV.
As I headed back to my house, I dialed Nick and explained what had gone on yesterday, and then the added stress from the shit Leonard hadpulled.
“I’m going to text Leonard and tell him I’d like to meet with him to discuss,” I advisedNick.
“What? Are yousure?”
“Absolutely. I’ve had it with assholes who think they’re entitled to act as they wish and think the shit they pull isacceptable.”
“I get it. Well, let me know when and where and I’ll go withyou.”
“Thank you, my friend,” Isaid.
“Someone will need to be there to pull you away from Leonard so you don’t land yourself in jail,” Nick jabbed at me. We both laughed, and I was grateful that Nick always had myback.
When I got home, I sent Leonard thetext.
Russell: Let’s meet and discuss yourideas.
I left it at that, and within seconds, I had hisresponse.
Leonard: Great! I have lots of notes on a training plan and will bring those. Want me to come to yourhouse?
Russell: That’s not necessary. Noon, at the ChandelierBar.
Leonard: See yousoon.
At five minutes to noon, I handed the car fob over to the valet attendant and made my way through the trendy hotel on the Strip with Nick by my side. Already seated at a table with four seats, Leonard sat with a portfolio in front ofhim.
“He really took the training proposal to heart,” Nick said quietly to me as we approached thetable.
“It’s deeply concerning that he’s already gone to thislength.”
“Semi stalker-like,” Nickadded.
“It’s obsessive,” Icommented.
Leonard stood with a smile on his face and nodded atus.
“Master Russell, Master Nick. Thank you for meeting with me.” We sat down, and Leonard jumped right into it. I figured that I’d let him give me the reasons he believed Ryan wasn’t a good fit for me, and then I intended to put him in his place. But as he opened his portfolio and began talking about his detailed training regime, I realized that he hadn’t just been obsessed, but was proposing something downrightdangerous.
“My plan is to tackle his behavioral issues first,” Leonard explained and pulled out some images of disciplinary furniture andaccessories.
He had pictures of human cages with barely enough room for Ryan to move. I had been well aware of the existence of these pieces of furniture, but Leonard seemed to have ideas that went outside the typical playsession.
“Leonard, these are for sessions where the Top would monitor their bottom the entire time. These aren’t meant for a bottom to actually sleep in,” I said. Granted, I had heard it being done before. “That’s a different kind of play that isn’t necessarily ‘play’ at all,” I hinted and hoped he’d get the gist of what I hadsaid.
“Look, you can actually raise and lower the top plate. You control how much he moves, if atall.”
He hadn’t picked up on what I had told him at all and kept going. Leonard opened a thin catalog that showed the cage with a steel plate at lower points in thecage.
“You can have it as close as twelve inches off the ground,” heraved.
I glanced at Nick and knew that he had the creeped out feeling that I had. Leonard keptgoing.
“I also thought that I could work with him about hishead.”
“His head?” I frowned as I tried to figure out just where he was leading withthat.
