“I’m a different man now than I was before I met you.” Damien smoothed back Matthew’s hair, his touch reverent. “My priorities have changed. But there’s one thing about me that will always stay the same.”

“What is it?”

“I know what I want.” Damien kissed him slowly and soundly, letting the words sink in. When Matthew was starry-eyed and relaxed, Damien pulled away. “And I’ll do everything in my power to get it.”

Matthew’s eyelids drooped with want. He ran his fingertips over Damien’s cheek, then cupped it in his palm. Damien pressed into his hand so Matthew could feel the prickle of his stubble and the warmth of his skin.

“I want you,” Damien told him in no uncertain terms. “Life tried to keep us apart, but here we are together. You’re here with me, and I’m going to keep you.” His hand dipped between their bodies, stroking the skin below Matthew’s navel. “Both of you.”

Matthew made a small sound of delight, but Damien silenced it with a kiss before it could become anything more. The kiss deepened. Damien’s hand trailed lower, and soon after stroking Matthew to full hardness, he was back inside his boy, coaxing Matthew toward the orgasm they both needed. Matthew gripped fistfuls of his hair and moaned with every thrust, and Damien kept them both as quiet as he could by keeping Matthew’s lips occupied. Then, whimpering into his mouth, Matthew came. Knowing his boy was satisfied, Damien knotted him and pumped him full of his cum.

“You’re mine.” Damien kissed the corner of Matthew’s mouth, then settled over him, careful not to disrupt his knot. “I’ll do anything for you—anything to keep you happy.”

“I want to keep you happy, too.”

“You do, and you do it just by being you.”

The conversation devolved into unhurried, affectionate kissing that spoke of satiated passion and brimming love. It continued until Matthew showed signs that he was starting to get drowsy, at which point Damien tapered the kisses into nothing. When at last he was free to pull out, Damien lay by Matthew’s side in silence, glad to simply exist.

It had been a long time since he’d felt that way.

As the minutes ticked by, Damien found the will to get up. He donned a pair of boxers and stole into the bathroom to collect a washcloth, then returned to the bed and cleaned the mess he’d made down Matthew’s thighs and between his cheeks. Matthew, exhausted, moaned the sleepiest moan Damien had ever heard and tried to lift himself to help, but all Damien wanted was for him to relax. With one arm he supported Matthew’s hips while the other rid him of their mess. When Matthew was clean, Damien discarded the rag, laid him back in bed, and tucked him in.

“Thank you, Daddy,” Matthew whispered. “Love you.”

“Love you, too, baby.” Damien kissed his forehead. “Let’s try to get some sleep.”

While Damien returned to bed, a light attracted his attention. His phone, which was charging on the bedside table, had lit up. Upon investigation he discovered it was a work email, which he ignored, but there were other messages he’d missed while enjoying time with Matthew. Two of them were from his brother, timestamped an hour ago. Damien read them as he settled beneath the sheets.

404: There’s a pretty package in the mail headed your way

404: Thought you might like to know

Mimi: Thanks

404: Wow, I’m surprised at how long it took you to reply. You neck deep in work?

Mimi: Nah, not tonight

404: Uh 911, yes, hello. I think some alien’s body-snatched my brother. You need to throw his ass in Area 51 before it’s too late

Mimi: Imagine me rolling my eyes so hard sushi chefs get jealous

404: Seriously, though, you sick? It’s like… 10PM your time.

Mimi: Nope

Mimi: Matthew came home today

404: Ahh, the power of a good dicking

404: When are you going to tell the parental units?

Mimi: Soon

Mimi: I’m thinking for Bigg Daddy’s birthday

404: That serious, huh?
