xVerity: I keep forgetting you’re a dad now.
KnotMyProblem: Soon to be a father of two, thank you very much. I’m one of the daddiest Dads in the group. It’s dadception up in here—so many layers of dad you won’t be able to keep up
xVerity: I have three children.
TeenDad2: I’ve got two, too!
GlitterDoctor: Sorry to break it to you, Knot, but you’re average tier dad at best. The distinction of daddiest dad goes to xV
The Single Dad chat had recovered since The Great Blowup, much to Damien’s relief. While there’d been a few weeks of weirdness, the guys had eventually come around. It was largely thanks to Gwynn, who’d taken it upon himself to act like nothing had changed. In appreciation of Gwynn’s efforts, Damien had done his best to stay in closer contact both through private messages in the chat and via text. It had made their friendship stronger.
KnotMyProblem: I’m at LEAST in the top fifty percent of dads
GlitterDoctor: Denied
GlitterDoctor: More of us Dads have multiple kids than not
KnotMyProblem: Uh, no. You’ve got Parker, Harley’s got Evie, and Gwynn’s got Violet
Gwynning: …
GlitterDoctor: Oh, this is good
Gwynning: Knot?
KnotMyProblem: Yeah?
Gwynning: You’re marrying one of my children
Damien stared at the screen.
KnotMyProblem: …
Gwynning: So technically, that means I have FOUR children and am the daddiest Dad of them all
GlitterDoctor: Is my math off here, or does something not add up? Four kids?
Gwynning: Matthew, Knot, Violet, and the newest addition to the Gwynn family, due late September of this year
TeenDad2: NO
TeenDad2: Are you serious???
TeenDad2: ALEX DIDN’T EVEN TELL ME
TeenDad2: brb ANGRILY CALLING MY BEST FRIEND
It was news to Damien. Startled, he slipped into Gwynn’s PMs.
KnotMyProblem: Does Matthew know?
Gwynning: Not yet. Would you keep it a secret for now?
KnotMyProblem: Yeah, of course. Congratulations. Looks like it’s a good thing we’re moving to Aurora—we’re going to need more hands on deck for the Single Dad Babysitting Ring
Gwynning: I’m glad, too. Violet misses Emily. It’ll be nice to have all the kids together again
KnotMyProblem: Definitely.
