“Dad?” Matthew’s voice was hoarse. “Alex? I want you to meet Emily AliceGwynn.”

“It’s nice to meet you, Emily,” Alex said softly. He looked from the wrinkled newborn on Matthew’s chest to Laurence, his smile radiating from the inside. Laurence met his gaze and smiled back. The chaos of delivery had receded, the hard work had been done, and all that was left waslove.

The next few months would be the most hectic and stressful of Alex’s life, but he wasn’t afraid of them. Not anymore. He’d found a man who loved him just as much as he loved his family. He’d found someone he could count on to be levelheaded and responsible, even when Alex was not. But most importantly, he’d found the one who treated him like he was worthwhile—like he was a person instead of atoy.

And seeing Laurence beam with pride and happiness for his son, Alex knew, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that he would love this manforever.

His partner. His happily ever after. Hiseverything.

“Should we wake him up?”Alex whispered, leaningin.

“I don’t think we should. If he wakes up, he can take himself to bed. For now, we should just let himsleep.”

Matthew had passed out on the couch, face smashed against the cushions, one arm dangling off the side. His knuckles brushed the floor. Every now and then, he made snort-snores—quiet enough that Emily, who slept in the bassinet a few feet away, didn’t stir. The television was on, although its volume had been reduced to nearnothing.

The last two months had been hard—harder than Laurence had anticipated. He’d raised Matthew on his own for the most part, but back then, he’d been young and in his prime. Taking care of a baby was different now that he was older and settled into a comfortable routine, and even though Matthew did the bulk of the work, it didn’t stop Laurence from having sleeplessnights.

Especially now that Alex was so heavilypregnant.

Half the night, Laurence huddled to one side of the bed in the hopes he wouldn’t disturb the few hours of quality sleep Alex got per night. Alex, meanwhile, was up every three hours to relieve himself. He hadn’t been into the studio in months, and although Laurence had surprised him by setting up a small home studio in his seldom-used office, Alex hadn’t put it to much use. Pregnancy, he’d told Laurence one night when they were cuddled up in bed, was exhausting, and even something as simple as crossing the house to get to the office was oftentimes too much effort for not enoughreward.

Laurence’s attention was pulled back into the moment when Alexspoke.

“Then let’s turn off the TV and go to bed.” Alex yawned. “I know I’ve already slept most of the day away, but I’m exhausted. Can you give me backrubs?”

“Of course.” Laurence turned off the television, then returned to Alex’s side and laced their fingers together. Alex rewarded him with a sleepy smile, and together, they made their way to the bedroom, turning off lights as theywent.

Once they’d arrived, Alex stripped out of his shirt and lowered himself onto the bed. His legs hung off the edge, and he made a show of kicking them back and forth. “Helpme.”

It was ridiculously cute. Laurence grinned and made his way over. “You want me to helpyou?”

“Yes.” Alex ran a hand over his swollen belly, and instantly, the moment turned from sweet and silly to seductive. Alex stopped kicking and looked up at Laurence with partially lidded eyes. “Take my pants off,Daddy.”

Laurence’s pulse quickened. He stepped to the bedside and looked down at Alex as Alex caressed his distended stomach. Seeing him so full of life, glowing and radiant, turned Laurence on like nothing else. He was devoted to Alex, body and soul. The more time passed, the more deeply that connectiondeveloped.

Laurence was in love. He knew it now more thanever.

Alex lifted his hips just slightly, straining against his weight, and Laurence quickly lowered the sweatpants he wore, leaving Alex in the lace panties they’d bought together, maternity-sized, so Alex could continue to feel beautiful even when he outgrew his favorite clothes. Alex’s cock was already hard and pressed up against the underside of his belly, caught up in the lace that covered it. Pregnancy hormones had shortened his temper and left him more irritable than he had been before, but they’d also amped up his sex drive. Laurence almost couldn’t keepup.

Almost.

Except now, there was no more almost, and no more never. Laurence had learned to embrace life as it came to him instead of shying away from it. He’d started to live again, and it was all thanks to the young, pregnant omega currently tempting him on his ownbed.

“I’m due any day now,” Alex continued. His voice never lost its seductive timbre. He lifted his legs up and scooted onto the bed, but his gaze remained set on Laurence. Slowly and purposefully, he traced his ankle along his calf and up to his knee, opening himself up for Laurence’s gaze. “Do you know what Dr. Tillman told me? She said that having sex with you is a perfect way to induce a stubborn pregnancy like mine.Especiallyif you come insideme.”

“Is that so?” Laurence climbed up onto the bed, parting Alex’s legs. He lowered his head and ran his tongue up Alex’s cock, stealing a flighty gasp from Alex’s lips. The lace’s texture stirred Laurence further. He loved to tease Alex through it and see him squirm, and he loved even more when he could make him come without taking off his panties. A pair like these, slightly different than the ones Alex had worn before, were long overdue. Their open-back design allowed Laurence access to what he wanted without any of the fuss, and when Alex was feeling like a particularly good boy, he loved wearing them, knowing how riled the sight of him in them made Laurence. “Well, if it’s doctor’sorders…”

“It is.” Alex’s voice was breathy, and he squirmed slightly as Laurence’s tongue ran in rhythmic laps up his cock. “Come in me, Daddy. Force my body to understand you’re still here, and you’rewaiting…”

Laurence’s cock throbbed, and he climbed up the bed, pushing his thighs between Alex’s legs as he took control. They shared a kiss that stole Laurence’s breath away, and when he pulled back and panted to fill his lungs, he looked Alex in the eyes. “How many days has it beennow?”

“Almost four.” Alex rocked his ass against Laurence’s knee. “Four days of false contractions. I’m so fed up with it, and with being pregnant, that I don’t even care how much it’s going to hurt anymore. I would have this baby out of my nose if it meant that I could just move on with mylife.”

“Then it’s a good thing that I’m here to help you.” Laurence undid his pants and took them off. His underwear and glasses followed. Then, while Alex pushed himself into position on his hands and knees, Laurence opened the cap on the lube they kept by the bed and pooled some on his palm. He drew back only so he could coat his length, then slipped his cock back between Alex’s cheeks—back where it belonged. When he spoke again, he did so into the short hairs on the back of Alex’s neck. “Daddy’s going to make it better. He doesn’t want to see you sufferanymore.”
