Twice.

When I fill her the third time, I grunt, “Greylin.” My cum paints her walls and it’s like she’s milking me for everything I have.

My body shudders and I’m panting while my heart pounds so hard I’m sure they can hear it next door. Greylin cradles me in her arms and pulls me down on top of her until I give her more of my weight.

She holds me, her hands soothing over my muscles. She touches me with softness and love.

“I love you, Aiden,” she whispers. “Thank you for choosing me.”

“I’ll always choose you. Speaking of…,” I pull out of her slowly and she lets out a whimper at the loss of contact while I let my sentence dangle.

She watches me closely as I go back into the closet where my small safe is. It’s big enough for my service weapon and at least one other thing.

I close my fist around it and find Greylin sitting up, curiosity written all over her face. My movements are slow as I crawl over her, my body pushing hers gently back until we’re in the same position that we were moments ago, but this time I’m not filling her with my cock.

Give me time.

I’ve got all night.

“Give me your left hand,” my words are a rough command.

Her hand is shaking slightly when she holds it up. I slide the ring into place, proud as fuck when it fits perfectly.

“Will you marry me, Greylin? Will you build a family with me? Will you help me when I need your tenacity and your drive? Will you let me stand behind you and lend you strength when you don’t think you have anything left to give?”

“Nothing,” a small sob escapes her lips, “would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life making bargains with you.”

I kiss her hard, knowing life is a series of bargains. Making one with her was the best thing I ever did.

EPILOGUE

SIX MONTHS LATER

GREYLIN

The event space of GMH has never looked better. Today I married the man I never thought I could have. And I can’t imagine being happier.

Lights twinkle all over the place, making the room feel like you stepped through a portal and into an enchanted forest.

Along with the rustic walls and exposed wood, there are flowers everywhere. The effect is stunning. And exactly what we were going for.

Without fail, my best friends showed up for me. They kept me focused while planning this wedding. Sometimes they picked me up and reminded me that the only important thing was getting married to Aiden. It wasexactly what I needed to hear and a reminder that put it all into perspective.

Honestly, I was worried about nothing.

Today has been perfect.

I look across the space to find Aiden talking with York and Elwood. The brothers have worked hard at keeping their relationship intact. I think it might even be better than it was. I’m sure it helps to not have their father between them.

The man in question isn’t a taboo topic between the brothers, but it’s not something they agree on. I’m not sure what will need to happen to open York’s eyes, but I know my husband will be happy when the day comes.

And I have no doubt it will happen.

I’m just hoping GMH is still in business when it does.

Elwood and Aiden got along right from the start, but they’ve known each other for years, even if they weren’t close. It’s kind of the way it is around here.

If my brother decided to threaten my man if he hurt me, I didn’t hear about it, but I wouldn’t be surprised.
