Luke slides into bed next to me then leans down to give me a soft kiss on the lips.

“Morning, beautiful. How are you feeling this morning? Are you sore at all?”

I’m not sure if he’s asking if I’m sore from the game or sore from the crazy sex we had. Luke is what people would call…adventurous in the bedroom.

As soon as I walked in the door last night he was waiting for me. After he threw me against the door and fucked me senseless, he then asked if I was up for some new positions.

And let me tell you, if you are confident enough to try the wheelbarrow, ten out of ten recommend it.

I take a sip of my coffee, savoring how rich it tastes on my tongue. No one told me how good the coffee would be here in Sweden, but it might be one of my favorite things about this country.

Okay, so I haven’t ventured to many places other than this hotel, the hockey rink, and the Olympic Village. But for now, this coffee is in my top three for sure.

“I feel great. Better than great. Fabulous.” I toss my curly hair over my shoulder in a dramatic fashion, causing Luke to chuckle.

“Good.”

His voice sounds different. We’ve only been staying together for a few days, but I’ve known him for over half my life. Even if we’ve gone months without seeing each other, I know what this man sounds like. Something is definitely off.

Reaching over to the nightstand, I set my mug down. Turning my attention to Luke, I sit up on my knees and rest my hands on my thighs.

“How areyoufeeling this morning?”

Luke studies me a moment then leans his head back against the headboard.

“I don’t know. Nervous. About our first match tonight. About your brother figuring out I’m in…”

He pauses and I feel my heart stop.

He’s what?

For a moment I thought Luke was about to tell me he’s in love with me, which would be crazy, but I’ll admit I’m just as surprised by the words that do eventually come out of his mouth.

“That I’m in a relationship with his sister.”

The words ignite something inside of me. I’ll never know how I got so lucky to be here in bed with this man, but I’m not about to question it.

Luke’s head is still thrown back against the headboard sohe doesn’t notice me crawling into his lap until I’m flinging my leg over him.

“We’re in a relationship, huh?” My voice is as cocky as ever. I mean, the man of my freaking dreams just said he’s in a relationship with me. How else should I be feeling right now if not confident as hell?

He reaches up and tucks my hair behind my ear. “I already told you, Charlie. There’s no way I’m giving you up. What did you think I meant by that?”

“I’m not sure. I thought maybe you meant just what’s happening here in bed. But now that I know we’re together, I’mveryhappy.”

I walk my fingers up his chest until I reach his collarbone. Without thinking, I wrap my hand around his neck, applying the smallest amount of pressure.

Luke’s eyebrows shoot up and his pupils widen. That’s not shock I see in them though. That’shunger.

The corner of my lips twitch as I feel him grow beneath me.

“You like that, don’t you, Luke?”

His words come out breathy. “Fuck yeah, baby.”

I squeeze him a little harder and then crash my mouth to his. There’s nothing soft about what’s happening between us. It’s hard, it’s urgent, our tongues frantically gliding together as we lose ourselves in each other.

Rocking myself over him, he groans into my mouth.
