Kenz arches an eyebrow. “Please join us.”
“You date Brandon Walker, yeah?” Ashley asks Kenz.
“Yes.” Kenz draws out theslike she’s wondering where Ashley is going with this.
“He’s a nice guy.” Ashley waves the waitress over. “Can I get a hot chocolate?”
The others order coffee. I guess they’re staying? What the fuckis happening?
“No one thinks this is your fault by the way.” Sidney leans back in the chair like the bad bitch she is. “I mean, no girl wants her first time to be with five guys. That’s a fucking hamburger chain, not a relationship.”
“I really didn’t ask for this.” Something settles in me, knowing they don’t blame me. “I don’t even know how they knew I was the only one left.”
Sidney smiles. “The guys keep tabs. Really, I’m surprised they didn’t clear the board before this year.”
Kenz kicks me under the table. I glance at her and she raises her eyebrows like what the fuck am I doing. We should totally bounce.
But I’m curious what the cheerleaders want. Know thy enemy and all that. “Where’s Hannah?”
“Still fucking bitter as hell.” Emma scoffs. “She likes riding Caden’s monster dick and bragging how big it is.”
That burn starts in my chest. I remind myself I knew the guys weren’t virgins. They have a past and each of the guys except for Nico were in at least one of these girls, if not more than one.
“Not going to lie,” Ashley says. “Those are the best dicks in school. Most of the other guys think you should be grateful they have one and don’t try to learn what to do with it.”
“It’s not just the status we’re worried about.” Sidney reaches across for the cream to add to her coffee. “We can find boyfriends, but if we do, we need to make sure the horsemen don’t come back on the market.”
I press my lips together. “I have no control over what they do.”
Sidney’s smile is not so nice. “We know about the deal to keep you for the whole year. We just need a guarantee you’re willing to keep your end of the bargain and they don’t start straying. But if they do, it better be with one of us.”
“Wait,” Kenz interrupts and draws Sidney’s attention. “What exactly are you asking Harper to do?”
“Keep the horsemen close and satisfied while we raise our boyfriends up to their ranks.” Sidney arches an eyebrow and blinks her eyes almost innocently. “The horsemen never wanted to be our boyfriends, but they definitely appreciated us being available. They tend to wander, but they always came back.”
“How do you think we keep being top of the school?” Emma takes a sip of coffee. Her dark eyes meet mine. “We kept them satisfied, and that makes everyone happy.”
“Look, you’ve been hiding for so long you can’t possibly know what happens when they don’t get sex on the regular.” Sidney tosses her blond hair over her shoulder. “The guys are aggressive, and when they have pent upneeds, they can get dangerous.”
“So if you can’t keep up, you need to let us know so we can step in and pick up your slack,” Ashley adds. Her smile turns into a grin. “Think of us as a public service.”
Hoes-R-Us?
It’s taking everything in me to keep my mouth shut. What the hell have I walked into? I kind of want to pry into these women’s minds to figure out what the fuck is going on.
Kenz doesn’t have my reservations. “So you guys fuck the horsemen into thedecentguys they are?”
The girls laugh.
“Oh, sweetie, yes.” Sidney turns her eyes on me. “We keep them calm. Right now, they’re focused on you, but the second their attention strays is when the punishments to the whole school ramp up. So if you haven’t already popped that cherry, get on it and keep the guys in line.”
The girls all rise as one.
“If not,” Emma says, “free them up so they can get what they need.”
