“Fine,” Ari sighed dramatically. “You don’t have to beg, I’ll tell you.” An evil little smirk twitched at the corner of her mouth, and Bellamy glared at her, secretly willing her to continue. “Doyou know what it’s like to be used solely for someone else’s pleasure, with no real thought to your own?”
Bellamy swallowed. She knew her sister didn’t know how close to home that hit. How Ves had taken her own pleasure from Bellamy every time they’d had sex for years. How Bellamy had let it happen because it was all she could get. Sure, Ves was good about making sure she felt good, but it was always in the way Vesper wanted, not in the way Bellamy wanted. It wasn’t loving, or sweet, or gentle. So, yes, she knew intimately how it felt to be used for someone else’s pleasure.
“Well, V’s not like that. Apparently, she’s the only client they’ve really had that puts their pleasure first. I heard she never even lets them touch her. She’s focused on our pleasure the whole time. Can you imagine? Being paid to do nothing but come?” Ari sighed wistfully.
“Well, you’ll never know how that feels.”
Ari shrugged. “Never say never, Bels.”
Alright, that’s it. Bellamy was done with her bullshit. She got her answer. Now Ari was being a cunt just because. “Time for you to fucking leave, Ari,” Bellamy snapped. Her magic crackled dangerously in her palm, almost sparking up the tie so she could fucking punch her bitch sister in the face.
“Oh Bels,” Ari sighed, getting up and sauntering over to the door. “You should really learn to be nicer to the people trying to help you.”
Heat rushed to Bellamy’s face. “Trying to help?” she all but yelled, incredulously. “Are you fucking kidding me?”
“You might be an asshole, but you’re still family. Believe it or not, Iamhere to help you.” Ari turned without another word, flinging the door open and almost running directly into Vesper, who looked like she’d been reaching for the door knob. Fuckingfinally.
CHAPTER FIFTY-SEVEN
Bellamy
Vesper stood in the doorway frozen for a second, until Ari pushed past her without another word, fleeing into the hallway. Ves looked at Bellamy with furrowed brows and pursed lips, immediately closing and locking the door.
“You okay, Bel?” Vesper asked, the concern softening her features. The look on her face was almost enough to distract Bellamy from her frustration. Then, the ache in her knees and the heat of fresh embarrassment and anger reminded her that she was fucking pissed with Vesper for leaving her.
“Where the fuck were you?” she snapped, swallowing when Vesper walked closer, brandishing a silicone paddle in her hand.
“Needed to borrow something,” Ves smirked, concern washed away in the face of Bellamy’s attitude. She knelt down behind Bellamy, circling her arms around Bellamy’s waist. “You sure you’re okay?” she whispered, kissing Bellamy’s neck.
Bellamy gritted her teeth. She wanted to keep her anger, to make Vesper have to fucking work to get her to submit. But the shocking softness of this hold, the care in Vesper’s voice—even if she was trying not to show how concerned she was—was making it harder.
“Fine,” Bellamy grumbled, leaning back into Vesper.
“What happened?”
“She’s just being a bitch like always.” Bellamy shivered when she felt the smooth silicone of the paddle rub against her bare leg. Her breathing quickened, Ari’s bullshit all but forgotten.
“You’re sure?”
“I’m fine,” she snapped, wishing Vesper would stop fucking talking and do something.
Ves chuckled softly. “Do you want to continue?”
Was that even a question? The anticipation had already built back up. The heat had changed from anger to excitement, her body instantly ready for Vesper. Bellamy was almost as wet as she had been before Vesper left. Before Ari had come in to fucking piss her off. She wanted to forget about Ari. Forget about Cedar and Cypress and their whole fucking day. Bellamy was practically willing Vesper to do whatever she could to make Bellamy’s mind go blank with pleasure.
“Please,” she whined, pushing back into Vesper and closing her eyes.
“We can stop if you want,” Vesper said, giving her one last entirely unnecessary out.
“Ves,” Bellamy snapped. “Fuck me.”
“You say you want that,” Vesper whispered against her neck, finally sounding more like herself, sure and in control, confidence oozing from her voice. “But if that’s true, why are you out of position? I never said you could move.”
Fuck. She couldn’t even rectify it now with Ves holding her there and the paddle that was now tauntingly close to her center. She didn’t want to move. She didn’t know what Ves had planned for her, but she couldn’t fucking wait to find out.
“You’re not letting me,” Bellamy whined, as if blaming Ves for her current position was going to help her in any way.
“I’m barely touching you.” Vesper’s hands rested on Bellamy’s thighs, the paddle hung loosely in between her legs, but other than that, she was right. She really wasn’t holding Bellamy down. “Do you need help?” Vesper asked, biting her neck.
