“Knot me, Dustin.”
He pays no heed to my words, focusing instead on delivering more pleasure, careful not to strain his injured arm. Gently, he pushes my leg back, planting a kiss on my calf as he thrusts deep into me.
“I’m going to knot you now,” he growls through clenched teeth.
The mixture of pain and satisfaction on his face sparks a smile on mine, especially as he hits that spot inside me, pulling me over the edge.
He looks utterly fucking irresistible.
Our lips meet as his knot locks inside me. “Alpha, it feels so good,” I murmur, a satisfied grin spreading across my cheeks.
Dustin’s body covers mine once more. Careful not to add all his weight on my body. Our scents mingle perfectly.
My fated mate,” he whispers in my ear.
“Scent match too,” I reply.
We exchange a tender smile.
I wrap my legs around his back as we lie entwined. Safe and comforted beneath his powerful frame, I feel completely at ease.
Dustin purrs softly, and my eyes gently close.
CHAPTER SEVENTEEN
HARPER
I come to, wrapped in Dustin’s arms, lying in a cool bath.
“What happened?” I murmur.
“Your temperature spiked.”
I nuzzle into his chest, pressing a soft kiss to the wolf’s eyes watching me.
“When will the others arrive? I need more knots.”
“They’re here,” he whispers.
“When did they get in?”
“At two this morning.”
My fingers trace his chest. “And when will they wake?”
“It’s noon. They’re already awake,” he says gently.
“I remember getting up a few times to go to the bathroom... and heard purring.”
He purrs again, and I whine softly, comforted by the protection and care surrounding me.
“Stay here. I’ll get fresh blankets for your nest.”
“Okay.”
I hear Dustin’s voice. He’s speaking to someone. I wiggle my nose sniffing the air —could it be Archer?
“Hey, little omega.” Archer kneels beside the tub, clad only in boxers.
