Farrah’s eyes filled with tears, “I tried to fix it. I’m too far along.”
Cam started laughing, causing everyone to look at him.
“If y’all believe that’s my baby, y’all crazy. Farrah was with other niggas, not just me.”
“What you saying?” Ace spoke up before Farrah could.
“I’m saying she lying,” Cam shot back.
Stone finally spoke, low and deadly.
“Everyone sit down.”
His eyes locked on to Farrah, “How far along are you?”
“Too far,” she whispered with her head low.
Stacy slapped the table, “This is some bullshit!”
“Bullshit, but reality, so now what?” Ace stepped on his daughter’s behalf as Stacy did for her son.
Stone leaned back slowly, expression dark and undetectable.
“I know a doctor that will pull that baby out by the fuckin’ feet, my son too young to be anyone’s father.”
“But he ain’t too young to be fuckin’?” Ace countered as Stacy rolled her eyes.
“Look, I know y’all probably hate me right now, I tried to get rid of it! This is what I didn’t want.”
“Relax, Farrah. Mistakes happen. We wait until the baby comes, get the DNA test, and move on as a family,” Stone replied in a calm tone that made Stacy snap her head in his direction and calm Farrah’s nerves.
Stone was always calm in any situation, he never raised his voice, he had a solution for every problem. Stacy, on the other hand, was a livewire, especially when Cam was involved, so her love for Farrah went out the window. Stacy liked Farrah but not enough for Farrah to make her a grandmother. Stacy got up and stormed off while Stone and Ace headed to the office, leaving Cam and Farrah alone.
The silence was thick in the room, she had so much to say but not a word came out. He wouldn’t even look at her.
“Cam.”
“What?”
“I’m sorry this happening, but we can’t go on like this.”
“Farrah, I don’t give a fuck. I know that baby not mine, better go try Harlem and every other nigga you been fuckin’ on.”
Farrah’s feelings were hurt, Cam wasn’t letting up.
“I’ve only been with you and Harlem.”
“Well, you need to be at his crib, not mine.”
She sat there silent for a minute as her chest caved in.
“You know what, Cam? Fuck you, you ain’t shit but a spoiled ass momma’s boy. You gotta know that you gon’ help me with this baby though, I don’t give a fuck what you talking about.”
“Wait a minute, don’t talk to my son like that!” Stacy appeared from around the corner where she had to have been listening.
Farrah was fed up with Stacy and her son.
“Tell your son to man up because like I said, I’m not doing this alone, none of it!”
