Her breasts bounce back and forth as my balls slap against her sopping wet pussy, and with each deep thrust, she lets out the tiniest little sigh. A sigh so fucking sweet that I lose my mind.

We’re so tightly set together, every inch of me inside of her.

“I love you, sweet girl.” I growl out the words as I thrust again and again, spilling every drop of come I have inside of her.

“I love you, Holden,” she whines as I slow my thrusts and eventually collapse down on the bed beside her.

“Oh my God. That was incredible,” she says landing her head on my chest as I pull her close, rubbing circles on her back.

“Yeah, that’s an understatement. I’m beyond lucky I get to have that for eternity.” I kiss her hand and rest it on my chest. “You know what I love most about you?”

“Besides my freckle?” she rolls onto her stomach and looks toward me.

“I do love that freckle, but there’s more too.”

“More? I need to hear it!”

“I love how kind and warm you are. It’s beautiful and I’m lucky as hell to have you for my own.”

“Awe!” She draws out the word and kisses my chest over and over again. “And I love how strong and confident you are! You make me feel safe and I’m lucky to haveyoufor my own!” She narrows her brows. “I just realized something, though. Where’s Wyatt? He was stuck here last night, right? Please tell me he’s not in the house.”

I laugh under my breath. “He took his truck back home last night. Said he wasn’t staying here no matter what.”

She nods. “So, he’s still mad?”

“I don’t think so. We had a heart to heart after the hospital, and we agree it’s best for everyone if we stop acting like assholes.”

A slow smile builds on her sweet face. “I like that for us. It’ll be nice to have everyone talking again. Alice even texted that she was coming home for a visit. Maybe everyone could make up.”

I unintentionally offer a pessimistic huff. “I wouldn’t go that far, but who knows? Stranger things have happened this week.”

“Sure have!” She cuddles into me closer, tossing her soft leg up and over mine as she twists the hair on my chest. “I can see our future really clearly from here.”

“Is that right? What do you see?”

“Well, the usuals. This little cabin filled with kids, your famous grilled cheese…which I still have to try, a snowman named Flake-zilla, but I’m thinking now we should get two dogs. German Shepherds. Sisters from the same litter. I just think the kids would love to grow up with dogs, ya know?”

I nod slowly as I stroke her soft back. “That does sound perfect, though you skipped the part about the wedding in the spring.”

She beams. “A wedding in the spring, huh? Are you serious, ‘cause I’ve actually already been designing the logo since we started dating.”

“Wow!” I grin. “You had faith in us. I like it.”

“Yeah, I’ve known for averylong time that I need you.”

I roll to the side and kiss her forehead gently. “I’ve known for averylong time I’ve needed you too, my baby. That’s why a spring wedding is a must, and I can’t wait to see the logo.”

“Oh, it’s cute with a pink bow and this gray scale mountain backdrop.” She kisses my nose and laughs sweetly. “I’ve got it all planned out. Don’t you worry.”

For a second, I lie there listening to her talk about wedding cakes, dresses, and wildflowers. I never thought I’d ever love anyone. I never thought I’d get married, have a family, and Isure as hell never thought I’d have a Flake-zilla. But right here, with this girl in my arms, in this creaking bed, on top of this mountain, I have everything I’ve ever needed, and there’s no way in hell I’m ever letting it go.

Two Years Later

“I’m putting an ad in the Gazette,” I say as I rock back and forth in the little white rocker Holden built for the front porch. He actually built two, one for each of us.
