I smile and shake my head at the phone. Malia is being so chill about this. I can’t believe how brilliant it was to think of asking her. She talks like it’s just one of our ops forShadow Heroes, only in real life. I like that idea. I’m definitely not dreading a couple days of having to ward off my mom’s matchmaking thanks to Malia. She’s absolutely a real-life hero.
