But then again, I hadn’t truly questioned her. One must watch before he asks, but I had been watching her enough. Now was the time to ask questions, to truly see what she knew and if she would be a good source. If not, I would have to choose another, although from what I could see, there weren’t many Favorites that continued to come to church once they reached the ripe age of 20. If she didn’t have what I wanted, I would have to continuethis without one. It wasn’t optimal, but I had never let that stop me before.

I scanned the crowd, seeing the Leaders of the Seattle church lurking among the crowd. What the little sinner didn’t realize was that every single person here was placing their orders. It was a convention of trade.

The people here spoke of what they wanted. What they would pay for the children they wanted. Some would get their sick dreams fulfilled before the end of the convention, others would get them filled at the next auction.

Up until six months before the marriage of the Favorite and their owner, any man or woman was up for grabs. Able to be sold or traded so long as they were returned to their betrothed in proper condition. Thomas was possessive of his pet in only one aspect; he wanted to continue being the only one who truly owned the Blessed One. He didn’t care how anyone used her or what they would do to her after they married, he just wanted that title of the man who had the only Favorite that had never been anyone else’ Favorite and the one who fucked her first.

However, while Thomas and his Favorite were a curiosity to me, my main target was the Founder. The man who started this all.

I believed that I knew who it was, but I wasn’t completely sure, which was why I had to keep my family in the dark about it for now. Although, that didn’t come without it’s fun.

The mountains cared the least about my games, Jacky boy and the daffodil the most. Red hated everything about it, but she could do nothing other than play along when the time was right.

Speaking of whom. I pulled out my watch and checked the time. She would be landing in Seattle soon. I knew how much she hated chasing me around these days so now whenever I left in the middle of the night, disappearing without a trace, sheasked Malachi for another assignment and went off to handle that before rejoining me in Seattle whenever I cared to come.

Things were getting serious now though, more serious than before. I couldn’t keep missing Sundays while trying to build a relationship with Thomas’ Favorite, so eventually, she would find me.

My eyes drifted back to my little sinner. Red would find her just as interesting, I think. She might want to do something as stupid as try and save her. Perhaps it would be a good lesson in patience.

She stood like a statue exactly one step behind and to the right of Thomas. Her head was down, her dark brunette and white hair falling perfectly down the center of her spine. Her clothes hung on her a little more now, her hands folded in front of her, still bright red.

They had stepped on them with all their weight, holding her in place as they shoved their cocks into her mouth all at once. I was a little shocked she hadn’t broken even a small bone, but by the looks of it, by the way she had used them afterwards, they both seemed fine.

Her mind however? I wondered exactly how many cracks littered it now. She was smart enough to have realized that she could have died from what they had done. Drowning in cum would have been a tragic way to go.

Still, I couldn’t help but imagine her on her knees for me, a chain wrapped tightly around her porcelain throat, her lips painted red, her knees wide, her hands on the ground like the pet she was. I’d slice her lips from ear to ear, giving her the smile she lacked, watching the blood drip down her cheeks, dying that pale skin a beautiful crimson.

My cock throbbed at the idea of it. At the idea of her being so willing to sit there and watch me watch her.

“There.”

My eyes shifted at the quiet slice of a voice in my head. It took me less than a second to find what my mind had registered before my eyes had seen it. Garrett Masters heading towards a door at the back of the room.

He wasn’t the only one though. Behind him, others followed. Leaders and their children alike. All but Thomas, it seemed.

I made my way down the staircase, around the room, and down the hall they had disappeared down.

There was a door near the end of the hall that led to another meeting room. An auditorium of sorts, by the looks of it.

This was the first time since the compound burned down, since we had started, and finished, taking out everyone related to the Delepski brothers, that every Leader and child of a Leader in every church was able to meet. So, whatever they were going to talk about, I knew it would hold information I needed.

I stopped outside of the cracked door and leaned back against the wall, the ruckus from the main room just a distant murmur as the voices from the Leaders and their children drifted out towards my ears.

“…going on, Garrett?”

“We’re dying left and right.”

“The Elders are handling it,” Garrett replied tightly.

“Charles is still alive, that doesn’t seem like they’re handling it to us.”

A chorus of agreement echoed through the room.

“He’s alive for a reason,” Garrett responded angrily. “We cannot question the rulings of the Elders.”

“We wouldn’t if we knewwhythey were ruling this way,” another male said. “Why are they keeping Charles alive after what he’s done? None of this would be happening if it wasn’t for him.”

He wasn’t wrong. Had Young not advised Charles to ‘have his fun’ with the fiery daffodil, this chain of events never would have begun. But it did, and here we were.
